David growled again. "I don't think you got what you deserved last time." He flexed his claws. "I'm here to fix that." -
I know!!!)
Alexander frowned and looked around, seeing a few humans around, but they could still be in danger. "I'm not fighting you here and you are not on my list." -
He grinned. "Good. If you don't fight back it'll be easier to kill you." He lunged forward, thrusting his claws at Alexander's chest.

Alexander cried out and tossed David into the alley he had just come out of. He winced lightly and frowned at the demon. His hand flared up and yellow flames danced around his hand. He hurled it at David's legs, catching one of them on fire.

David cried out and winced as the searing flames danced around his legs, burning the flesh. He growled and lunged at the angel again, aiming for his neck, claws outstretched.

He slammed a punch straight into his midsection and glared at him. His hand started to light up in flames. "Stay down."

David growled and stumbled back, collapsing. He scrambled to his feet, glaring daggers at Alexander. "Just wait," He hissed. "One day I'm going to take you down."

Alexander smiled lightly. "I doubt that." He disappeared in a swirl of gold, leaving David to bleed.
A girl the age of twenty four passed by the alleyway David was in wearing a grey petty coat, black jeans and grey gloves. Her dark brown eyes glanced around as she shivered lightly and her long black hair blew around her. She glanced David's way and stopped in her tracks, walking over to him. "Are you okay?" -
David groaned and nodded stubbornly. His pride wouldn't allow him to accept any help from a mere human. "I'm fine..." He muttered.
Shay was beginning to get nervous. She was pacing the apartment, wondering what was taking Alexander so long. -
She held her hand out to him. "L-let me help you..." she mumbled lightly. "P-please.." she didn't know how this man had gotten hurt, but she felt an odd erge to help him.
Alexander appeared on the balcony, blood still coming out of his wounds as he opened the glass door. -
David growled slightly and glared at the girl, but didn't object. Maybe she could help him heal faster, and if not he could always kill her.
Shay gasped, seeing him and pulling him inside. "W-What happened?!" -
She sighed lightly and smiled at him, helping him back up on his feet. "M-my...apartment is o-only a few m-more steps from here." She blushed lightly as she helped him carefully to her apartment.
He shook his head. "That demon that tried to hurt you earlier...attacked me while I was on patrol..." he mumbled lightly, dripping some blood onto the white tiles on the floor. -
David sighed and ran a hand through his light brown locks, curiosity filling his stormy grey eyes as he eyes the girl curiously. He had never encountered a human so willing to help another before. "What's your name?" He asked, wanting to know more about the strange girl.
"David? Alexander I-I'm so sorry! You wouldn't have gotten hurt if you weren't protecting me..." Shay mumbled, guilt and regret clearly audible in her voice as she rushed to find bandages. -
She glanced at him. "My...name is Dawn..." she mumbled lightly as she finally got him to the apartment building, helping him inside and up the stairs to her room. She unlocked her door and opened it to a dull colored flat. "Sorry...it's not nice..."
Alexander shook his head lightly. "It's okay Shay." He smiled lightly and winced soon after. -
David offered her a small smile, looking around the flat and nodding in approval. "It's perfectly fine, Dawn. I'm David." He extended a hand, his claws had completely vanished along with his wings. He decided to try and befriend the human, maybe even defend her. If she trusted him and could heal him than she was worth protecting.
"N-No it's not! You're hurt and it's my fault!" She pulled out some disinfectant and bandages and rushed back to him, starting to treat his wounds as gently as she could.
