(Ha same. Registering for classes for next year next week.)
"I know, baby.. I know. Look, go take a shower, maybe shave? And fix breakfast. Me and Charlie will take care of her. Make enough for him, alright?" He kissed the back of Arcelio's head, standing, pulling on some clean clothes before following Charlie out the door.
Rosario made it to the bathroom, and even managed to lock the door before he lost his footing and ended up falling on his butt. He sighed, and hid his face in his knees. His virginity had been so painfully taken by his father, and, just now, that fact was piercing at him like a knife. -
(Oo I do my registering for summer classes on Friday .3.)
Arcelio made the slightest nod, staying where he was until Charlie and Rayson had gone. At that point, he slipped out of the bed, rubbing his eyes tiredly as he shuffled to the bathroom. He stripped down, getting into the shower. He washed his hair, got out and shaved, and then nabbed a pair of pajama pants off of the floor next to the tub and decided those would be enough. Partially dressed and clean, he went downstairs to make breakfast.
Drake stayed in the bed for a while, silently worrying about Rosario's well being. He'd never experienced anything that Rosario seemed to be struggling with, but all things considered he was probably pretty distressed and craving some form of normality. -
(ew summer classes)
It was in silence that Charlie watched Rayson make calls and arrangements for his daughter. Somewhere along the line, he had someone sign a death certificate saying she had drowned in a swimming pool of a friend yesterday. He also made it to where she would be cleaned up, and buried two days from the current date. Services tomorrow night, in the small church down the road.
And then he made the call to his son, Daniel, who Charlie could hear sobbing and shouting at the news. It broke Rayson, and Charlie watched as he swallowed a sob of his own, and then moved to call someone to come pick his daughter's body up. He helped him move it into the back of the van of the person who came.
After a few minutes of thinking about that, Rosario turned on the hot water, filled the tub, and then sunk into the blistering heat. -
(i like them but they cost me money)
Arcelio went right to cooking, using the motherly skills he'd developed over the past five years to make a pretty good meal. Sunny side up eggs, toast, sausage and- as was Angel's usual breakfast favorite- bacon. He sighed as he cooked it, but managed to contain himself through it as he stirred the sizzling meat around in a pan mindlessly.
Drake ended up downstairs, finding a note from his father explaining that he was alright with having Drake and his friend stay home that day, but he wanted them both back to school the next day. It made him wonder if Rosario was actually going to go to school, or if he'd be home schooled. -
(aw money
Idk man I think I'mma waste a year before I go off to college for that Social Work degree like. Idk yet.)
After all of that was taken care of, Rayson seemed to brighten up just a bit as he entered the kitchen, wrapping his arms around his lover from behind, holding him close. "Hey, Arch? I told Danny. He and Allen'll be here tonight. I was thinking.. We can give Ro Angel's room, and turn Danny's into a guest."
Honestly, Rosario wondered what would happen now- There was no way he could ever possibly go home, and he didn't really have anywhere else to stay. -
(Like a break year, yah that's cool. I shoulda done that .3.)
As Rayson came up behind him, Arcelio tilted his head, resting it in the crook under his lover's head. Then, he shifted a little, so he could shake his head without hitting Rayson. "No, I think Ro will like Danny's room better, it hasn't got pink walls..."
Drake decided to go up and check on Rosario, especially since he'd forgotten to show him the towels. He went back upstairs, grabbed a towel from the closet and knocked on the bathroom door. "Hey, you need a towel, right?" -
(I know, I think I'll visit you during that time though. And my love.)
"We could always repaint it. Green or something. Danny's walls are.. Depressing." The walls were, in fact, black, as was the wood on the floor in Danny's room.
Rosario muttered something, and then a quick, "Oh, yeah. Yeah. Um.. I.. The door is locked.. Leave em outside?" -
(Awe, yay. You can stay in my gross apartment.)
Arcelio made a little noise. "No... I don't want to change it yet, I want to keep Angel's stuff in there."
"Oh," Drake hummed, forgetting that people generally locked doors- only child problem. He set the towel on the floor next to the door. "Okay. Do you need anything?" -
(Yay apartments
I may bring Ashley with me though so we might stay in a hotel idk)
"..Oh. Yeah. For a bit, Arch. But, we can't dwell. You know that."
"No. I'm good," He lied, even though he really would have liked someone to talk to. -
(That might be wise)
Arcelio shrugged, turning the heat off on the stove and setting down the fork he'd been using to stir the now finished bacon. "I know."
Drake shuffled his feet a little, unsure if he should insist. "You sure? I mean, my dad's at work, so if you want to talk about anything, you can tell me now..." -
(Yeah
I'll cook for you, though. I'm a good cook~)
Rayson kissed the top of his head. "Tomorrow, there's going to be services. And, Sunday, you know. Burial. Just hold up, alright?"
"I'm not wearing clothes," He sighed, blushing at the door. "But, I don't really care. It would be nice to have someone to talk to. Um.. I can unlock it. Hold on." There was the sound of sloshing water, the door unlocking, and then more sloshing water. "Alright." -
(Yay free food)
Arcelio nodded, twisting around to face Rayson. He set his head against him, sighing. "I will, love." Over Ray's shoulder, he could see the note that he'd written the day before still sitting on the countertop. "I love you," he murmured, looking away from it and nuzzling his fiance.
When he was given the go-ahead, Drake stepped into the bathroom, making sure to keep his eyes away from the tub. He sat on the floor opposite the sink, so that he could look over at Rosario and not see anything... Personal. -
(well not free I have to buy it)
"I love you too. So, so much. Okay?" Charlie cleared his throat, tapping his fingers against the wooden table. "I like you two being happy and all, but please, I'd like to eat."
Rosario gave him a faint smile, sinking down into the water a bit. "I just.. You know, Archer was bad. He never did much, I was too small, I guess, at the time. He'd get mad, every now and then, and hit me, but he always said sorry, and.. And I didn't even know that the whole, um," He paused, closing his eyes, "Oral thing wasn't normal. I didn't have anything to compare it to. But I knew I didn't like it." -
(free for me)
Arcelio raised an eyebrow at Charlie's apparent rush, but obediantly leaned away from Rayson to get three plates from the cabinet.
Drake kept his eyes on Rosario's, even if the other's were closed. "And so... You dad was the first time that anyone ever... Did it like that?" -
(nnnn)
Rayson sighed, but took the plates, putting food on them, and then setting them where they were to go.
"Yeah. Yeah, he was. And.. I don't even know if I'm gay, but, that doesn't really matter. It was horrible. Because I trusted him. So much.. And he.. God, I can't.." And then he was sobbing, and choking on the sobs.
