((I cant remember if we ever decided something that happened to Janelle ;-;))
-
(She betrayed them.
She's still alive.) -
(OH YAH THAT'S RIGHT IM DUMB XD)
That, he wasn't quite so sure Rayson would want to talk about. "She.. She's still around, somewhere. You won't be seeing her, though I don't think you'd want to. She's no good guy." -
"..Janelle's my aunt. I want to see her, regardless." Of course, he hadn't been there to witness her kidnap his father. To him, she was still family.
-
"No, Rosario--" Arcelio stopped himself, as he'd gotten into his fatherly boss tone that he'd become so very used to using on his two kids. He sighed, and said softer, "Ro, we can talk about it later. But it's a no to seeing her."
-
The boy flinched, frowning at the sudden change in Arcelio's voice. He turned, facing away from him, locking his eyes on the building outside the window. He didn't say anything, but quickly made his mind up to ignore the man for as long as he could.
-
"...Alright. Haircut." Arcelio, feeling as if he'd in some way failed parenting Rosario somewhat, glanced at the boy after the man opened his own door. "Do you want me to get your door for you?"
-
Rosario said nothing, but continued staring out the window. He knew that either Arcelio would have to get the door, or he wouldn't go. He allowed his eyes to fall to the handle, and frowned, knowing that he couldn't open it himself.
-
It took a few seconds for him to accept the fact that Rosario wasn't going to reply. "I'll get it for you then." He slipped out of the car, shut his own door behind himself, then jogged around the front to open Rosario's side.
-
Rosario averted his eyes as soon as Arcelio rounded the corner of the car, being careful to look at anything but him while he got out, jammed his hands into his pockets, and stood silently, waiting for Arcelio to lead him wherever they were going.
-
Seeing as Rosario was being stubborn about not talking to him, Arcelio resolved it wouldn't help to pester him any more, so he wordlessly started leading the way across the parking lot to the hair dresser.
-
(bro I'm in love with this guy and I'm dying over here)
Rosario waited a few seconds, and followed a little behind him, keeping his eyes on the cars they were passing. As the walked by a black mustang, though, he froze, staring at it carefully. He broke his vow of silence, speaking calmly. "That's Corrin's car." -
"What?" Arcelio asked, but reached out and grasped Rosario's arm. He'd stopped in his tracks at the same time that Ro had started speaking, and was already a good foot away from him, so he stepped closer.
-
He spoke quickly, stopping after every word for a breath. "That's Corrin's car. The steering wheel has green paint on it. He was driving that car when they took me from my dad.. It's his car." He pulled away from Arcelio, stumbling backwards, onto the tail of another vehicle, causing an alarm to go off. He jumped, and moved as if he were planning to bolt off.
-
Arcelio was quick to turn around and make a move to grasp Rosario, but the boy was falling into a car before the man could get a hold of him. He could tell when Ro was about to take off- he'd seen it before, when he would play tag with Angel in the backyard, and she'd set he feet and then go running off. "Ro! Ro, it's okay!" He rushed to stop the boy, arms outstretched.
