Arcelio tried to calm himself, taking deep breaths and running his hands through his hair. It was all too much for him, these past too days. When he heard Angel calling for him, he stepped out of the bedroom, going to meet her at the door. -

Angel grinned at the sight of her father, unknowing that anything was wrong. She showered him with drawings of flowers, stick-figure houses, and smiley-faced suns. -

Arcelio was perfectly fine with this, looking at and holding each drawing carefully like they were works of art, making little comments like "It's beautiful, Angel," "I love the color," and "That looks just like our house." -

Angel loved the praise, but she soon ran out of drawings to show, and after tacking them all up to the fridge, demanded to be fed her after-school snack. -

Arcelio, deciding to have her choose it, lifted the girl up and propped her on his hip, opening up the cabinets to let her see what her options were. "Green beans, olives, pudding, jello, cereal.." He stated, continuing to read off whatever he saw. -

"Jelllllloooo, jello!" She sang, out, reaching for the cups that were just out of her grasp. -

Arcelio smiled, laughing softly. "Alright, jello it is." He reached out, and grabbed a cup, handing it off to Angel. Then, he snatched another cup, and gave to her. "Do you want to go give this one to your cousin? Bring a spoon." -

"..Spoon." She answered, nodding, squirming on his hip. It was her way of asking to be put down. -

Arcelio knew the signal, and lifted her up under her arms to set her on the ground. -

Angel took off towards the bedroom, completely forgetting the spoon. A few minutes later, Rosario emerged, carrying Angel on his back, the young girl chatting about wanting a puppy. He sat her on the table, at then looked at Arcelio, half glaring at him. "Where're the spoons?" -
(He is though~ And I love the part when that boy from his dance class comes to his aparment to give him chocolate and Liam gets jealous and gets all "uuuuh yah he's my boyfriend mhm I'll take the chocolate and I'll eat it now go off peasant"))
Arcelio was leaning against the counter when they returned. He made a gesture with his head, to a small drawer next to the sink. "There. On the left." -
(Liam is so cute just omg)
Rosario grabbed two spoons, handing one to Angel, opening her jello cup for her. The little girl giggled, and shoveled a spoonful into her mouth. -
(Yeees I love them both too much~ agh)
Arcelio leaned with his hip against the counter, watching them for a few moments. He was unsure what to do with himself then, but he ended up trapsing back to his bedroom. -

Rosario joked with Angel, telling her a story about a girl who, because she hadn't listened to her parents and gone to bed before twelve, turned into a pumpkin. He didn't know where he had heard the story, but it was there.
