She nodded and got back to work. "Yeah, you're right." She was careful to keep the duster moving slowly, trying imagine Sebastian throwing a party. It would be fun, she thought, but if all those werewolves from his work were there, things might not end well.

She looked at her. "He didn't invite people from his work. Just close friends really...you know I accidentally kissed Will that night." She sighed. "It..ended awkwardly."

Maria tilted her head and looked at her, a little confused. "Accidentally?" Maybe it was just because she'd been drunk. Or maybe an unfortunate game of spin the bottle or something.

She blushed deeply. "I-I was really drunk and I tripped and poof! She appeared where I was going to fall and my lips hit hers and..." she started getting more flustered and took a deep breath. "She...didn't like it or that's what I got from what happened after."

"What happened after? Oh, sorry, nevermind. You don't have to tell me." Maria mentally scolded herself for prying again.

she shook her head. "Well...she ran away and I didn't see her...the rest of the party. Then we all had to leave and I've only seen her come and visit Master Wolfe when he's sick or hurt."

"That doesn't mean she doesn't like you. Maybe she was just embarrassed. I mean, if Will had tripped and accidentally kissed you, wouldn't you have been embarrassed?" Maria asked gently.

"No! I would have been happy, I would have been excited and kissed her back." She sighed lightly and shook her head.

Maria shrugged. "Well, everyone's different. You never know." She smiled. "I could hint at it the next time she's here if you want..."

Brenda paled. "Maria please...don't I just got on her good side again. I can't..." she heard one of the boys yell that they were leaving. "I have to go Maria I'm sorry." She left the room and went down to the front door.

"I won't, then, don't worry," Maria called after her, trailing after to watch them leave the house for the day.

Brenda got into the van and frowned. Maybe Maria would keep to her word but...she didn't know if she shouldn't have told her.
Wilhelm drove to the manor in silence. Sebastian asked her to watch Maria since he would have to take an all nighter at the police station. She walked into the manor and saw Maria was near the stairs. "Maria it's nice to see you again." She smiled. -
Maria smiled. "Nice to see you too." Her expression turned the slightest bit confused. "Where's Sebastian? Did something happen?" She suddenly looked worried. If a doctor had come in his place things probably weren't good.

Will waved her hands quickly. "No dear he's fine. He just told me to keep an eye on you. He had to stay at work for an all nighter." She smiled. "How do you feel today?"

She sighed in relief. "Oh, thank god..." She smiled. "I'm fine thanks. Much better than yesterday. Would you like something to drink? Are you hungry?"
