Brenda was cleaning the room and glanced back at her. "Didn't I tell you to leave me alone Maria? I'm done talking today." She went back to cleaning the room.
-
Maria sighed and nodded, leaving the room. She began to clean a seperate room, once again feeling guilty and a little dejected. It seemed like it would be four hours of silent cleaning today.
-
Brenda sighed lightly and after two hours of being alone she was bored. She shouldn't have yelled at Maria, but Wilhelm was a touchy subject. She walked out of the room and tried to find Maria, but that wasn't gonna happen.
-
Maria was upstairs, cleaning one of the guest rooms. She was still feeling miserable after teasing Brenda, but she, like Sebastian had last night, told her not to bother her. She sighed, a bit lonely.
-
Brenda found her upstairs and leaned against the door frame. "Maria you're cleaning that wrong."
-
She jumped a little and paused her cleaning. "Oh, sorry..." She glanced up at Brenda from across the room.
-
She rolled her eyes and walked in, and took Maria's wrist. "Move the duster slowly so you know you're getting all the dust."
-
"Okay." She spoke softly, moving the duster more slowly like she'd told her. "Sorry about earlier, too."
-
She sighed lightly. "It's okay Maria, Wilhelm is a touchy subject..." she shook her head. "A very...touchy subject."
-
"Sorry for teasing you about it." She said finishing and getting the last of the dust. "I won't pry, and you don't have to tell me, but does she know how you feel?"
-
Brenda sighed lightly and leaned against a wall. "She...knows about my feelings. She doesn't return them though, I mean I told her at a part Sebastian had here once and...I was drunk and..ugh."
-
"Oh..." She put a hand on her shoulder. "Brenda, I'm sorry. I didn't know."
-
She shook her head. "Don't pity me Maria. It's bad to do that."
-
"Sorry." She blushed. "Sorry again. For pitying you. And apologizing again." She smiled, but couldn't help still feeling bad for her friend.
-
Brenda smiled a bit and laughed lightly. "It's okay Maria. The past is in the past."
