Raven gazed after Lucky for a minute, then laid down with a sigh. It was slightly warmer in the cave, but Raven had laid down near the entrance, leaving the warmer spots for the higher ranked wolves.

She laid down next to Rave and laid her chin on her paws.

Lucky shook her head. "We are all tired, but I'm going to do whatI can for the pack." She bounded away into the snow. After a few moments, her eyes lit up. By some miracle, she smelled...meat.

Absol sighs, and follows up behind her. cant let her just go out by herself... he soon also smells the sweet scent of meat, but stops to further examine the scent. "Hm..."

Raven's tail wagged slightly as Finchy settled down next to her. Raven pawed at a small patch of snow on her muzzle.

I might poof for a sec. Foods almost ready. Ill be back on shortly though.

Finchy stared outside at the snow and blizzard and laid down and dozed off.

Okay! )
Raven lifted her muzzle and pointed it towards the back of the cave. "It'll be warmer back there." -
Lucky followed the scent, but froze when she heard a familar sound. Rough, loud voices. Humans. Lucky shivered but pressed on. If these humans had good, than she was going to get it. No matter what.
Luckily these humans didn't have any dogs out with them at the moment. She edged closer to see. There were three men, sitting around a large fire, laughing and watching a large chicken cook on a spit. Lucky sniffed deeply, creeping closer. The large back next to the biggest man had more meat in it. She kept getting closer and closer until...
"Hold on. I smell a wolf." The big man said. Lucky leapt into action, grabbing the bag of food in her jaws and bolting off. She heard shouts behind her, and her heart skipped a beat at the sound of a gun being loaded.
She raced towards the cave, pursued by the slower beings. They didn't fire at her, a fact for which she was grateful. She collapsed panting at the cave's entrance, exhausted from the run but looking smug and triumphant. -
Finchy's ears twitched. "Oh, thanks," she said, wagging her tail just a bit and curled up inside a corner. "What's wrong, Lucky?" She asked, noticing how she was out of breath.

Raven's eyes landed on the breathless Lucky. "What happened? Were you attacked?!"

Lucky pulled herself into the cave. She sat down, biting back a cry of pain when she leaned on her cut paw. "Nothing. Nothing's wrong." She lied quickly. "Wait...where's Absol?!" She jumped up. "Oh, I knew he wouldn't stay...what ifthe men saw him?!" She was muttering frantically to herself, a bit panicked.

Finchy tilted her head. "Men?" She asked, narrowing her eyes suspiciously. -

"Absol ran out after you!"
