He smiled from relief. "If this happens again... we shouldn't panic as much."

She laughed lightly and hugged him tighter. "I-I don't think t-that's possible."

"Ready to go?" he asked.

She nodded quickly. "Yes, I've had enough of crowds for one day."

He took her hand and walked through the crowds with her, glancing over to make sure she was still there every few seconds.

She had a tight grip on his hand and stared at the ground. She looked up every few minutes to make sure he wasn't someone else.

They reached the vehicle in a few minutes. He opened the door for her then put the bags in the back.

She got into the passenger seat and hugged her legs. She closed the door after she got in.

He got into the driver's seat. "How do you learn languages? Personally, I mean."

She blinked and turned to him. "I-I get taught how to say the languages. When..in the crowd, I screamed your name. I-I don't know what came out of my mouth..."

"That was Slaorian. Although, I hope you don't have to be terrified to apply what you know. And I was asking if you learn by speaking, or reading, or writing..." He drove along calmly.

She shook her head. "I learned from reading and writing. Speaking...was probably the hardest for me, but I slowly learned."

"We're going home and we're going to read anything you want to read, and then we're going to watch anything you want to watch, and I'll help you write, and maybe speak." He realized it probably was better to offer than command. "If you want to, anyway."

She smiled a bit. "Yes...I'd be fine with that." She was kind of excited to learn a new language.

He slowly introduced himself in a full sentence, then translated and repeated it, but with her name.
