He nodded. "Told you, your characters are more complicated." He quickly wrote out his own name in Slaorian.
-
"Orion..." She took his hand again and wrote his name out in handwriting and in cursive. "It's very simple if...you just open your mind to it."
-
He tried to repeat it on his own. When he wrote quickly, it wasn't as wobbly. He smiled a bit at his success.
-
She smiled and hugged him. "You just need more practice." She yawned lightly. "I better get some sleep..." She stood up and smiled at him. "You're alot better than I was i kindergarten. So that's a really good thing."
-
"Kindergarten the first year your offspring attend school, isn't it? At five or six years of age?" He stood as well.
-
She nodded absent mindly. "mhm..." She yawned again and stood on her toes, kissing him on the cheek. "Good night Ori.." She waved at him and walked to her room, closing the door behind her, not even understanding what she did until she crashed onto her pillow.
-
His face was still red as he walked to his own room. This was... this was bad. He was planning on returning her in two weeks, and they were growing attached to one another... and he liked it. He put away the books as he contemplated her small display of affection.
-
Cassie was already trying to suffocate herself with her pillow. "Ugh!! Why they hell did I do that?!" She lifted her head up and glared at the headboard. "I mean...ugh I can't explain this! He probably is planning something and...no, I don't think he would do anything." She hugged the pillow. "I mean...I am getting attached to him, really badly." She huffed and started to yawn again. "I'll...think about it in the morning." She fell asleep soon after.
-
Of course, it made sense that she was getting attached to him; she was the only one of her kind and he was the only one that was accepting of that. Hopefully, it was only out of loneliness, and she'd be over it as soon as she returned to Earth. But it would be difficult if this was the way she'd-- no, they'd-- act for the next two weeks.
-
She rolled around trying to fall asleep, but she couldn't. She growled lowly and sat, grabbing something to write with on the side of her table, and wrote down everything she felt, sadly that wasn't enough. She let the paper flutter to the ground and she stared up at the ceiling.
-
While he wanted to be able to say goodbye at the end without pain afterward, he knew it would be impossible. He briefly considered keeping her around... no, that would be selfish. Maybe he could visit her every two weeks? Orion sighed. He was getting worked up over a kiss, and... it was stupid. He decided he'd just get ready for bed.
-
She sighed and got up, walking to her door. She was unsure of what to do. She loved it here, she really did. Better than Earth and her screaming parents. And she was getting attached to him, to where after the two weeks she probably wouldn't leave him. She opened her door with a sigh and glanced at his door as she walked down the hall. She could talk to him about it...she shook her head.
-
Orion showered and was about to get into bed, when he decided he'd check on her. He walked over to the door and opened it, noticing that hers was open again. He doubted he'd be getting much sleep, either, so he decided to join her.
-
She blinked when she saw him. God really was determined for them to talk. "Um...Hi Ori." She looked at him nervously.
-
"You're a lot like the offspring I take care of... at least in the sense that you keep me up most of the night." He smiled at her. "Can't sleep?"
