He wasn't really familiar with what she was relating the experience to, but stroked the back of her hand with his thumb, hoping to comfort her.

She blinked lightly and looked down at his hand. "um...I'm sorry. You're probably not familiar with my problem...I have trouble with crowds and people watching me. Like a group of people. I mean I'm okay with you staring at me sometimes."

"Hm." He smiled a little. "It won't take too long to get the rest of what we need." He glanced around, reading signs, and decided on a shop.

She smiled back at him. "Thank you. Let's hope we can find things quickly." She held onto his hand lightly and walked with him, glancing at the shops.

He found the one the needed and walked over with her.

She walked into the place carefully and looked around. It looked normal enough.

Orion lead her to where the hygiene products were. "I'm not sure what you need, so..."

She started to grab a toothbrush, toothpaste and other hygiene things a girl needed until it almost started to fall out of her arm.

He stepped over and started to help her carry it.

I know this! And tampons are disgusting!
She smiled a bit and mouthed thank you to him. -
It took him a moment, but then, upon understanding, he nodded.

She laughed lightly and helped carry things to the counter.

When they got to the counter, he returned to speaking Slaorian. He felt bad for her, since she didn't understand. Maybe, if they tried again, it would be easier?

She waited patently for him to be done. She didn't understand the language, it frustrated her. Maybe...she might one day be able to understand it. If she was taught the basics she could learn quickly.

She'd mentioned knowing a few other languages, and he knew that the best way to learn one was to listen to it. He'd improved a bit by listening to an actual human rather than a textbook, and was getting better at losing his faint accent when transitioning between the two. This transaction was much faster than the previous, but the cashier smiled at Cassie this time, too.
