The poor thief stayed awake the whole night, until he saw the sun creep over the horizon.
-
The next morning, she got up early and went to wake the thief. She headed to his room. "Good. You're already awake."
-
He looked up at her. "Like I could sleep. Now what are you going to do?"
-
"I'm not doing anything. But you're going to cook for me." She started to remove the spells on the door and window.
-
He rolled his eyes. "Like I know how to cook. I might poison you if I do."
-
"I guarantee you'll do better than me. Join me downstairs in a moment, please." She returned to her room to change.
-
He shook his head and started to walk down stairs to the first floor. He waited patiently for her at the last step, actually he was messing around tossing a glass ball around skillfully.
-
She came downstairs and stopped the ball's motion in midair, then floated it into her own hands. "Alright, Daniel Green. First thing... you look horrible. I mean from lack of sleep, not from what I'm assuming is your normal face."
-
He glared at her. "Well I'm sorry I appal you. I was thinking you'd kill me in my sleep."
-
"I'm not going to kill you." She put the ball back where it belonged, then stepped over to him. She got on the tips of her toes and gently pressed her thumbs below his eyes.
-
He jumped back quickly and grabbed her hand. "Don't touch me." He glared in anger.
-
"I'm not going to hurt you. Let go of my hand." She was calm through the entire process, but she was starting to have second thoughts about asking this thief for help, which was what she planned to do.
-
He frowned and let go of her hand. "What the hell are you trying to do anyways?"
-
"I know how to make you feel as if you've slept for seven or so hours... it's fairly simple, but it can have a long term effect if used too many times on one person." She shrugged. "I understand if you don't want it, though."
-
He shrugged lightly. "I'd rather you not. Magic always has a catch to it."
