She snapped her fingers and the web disappeared. "Come on, then."
-
He stood there. "Hmph. I was thinking you'd kill me."
-
"I'm still deciding whether or not I should. Follow me." She walked out of the room and down the hall, to the single, dusty guest room. She raised her hands as she stood in the doorway, and the dust disappeared.
-
He followed her to the guest room and shrugged. "You know I could escape if I had the chance."
-
"You won't." She walked over to the window and ran her finger across the glass diagonally, making it impossible to open or break. She then walked back to the door and created two small portal-esque rectangles. "The left one leads to my room, and the right, to the bathroom. Speaking of which, please bathe sometime tonight. The cottage is enchanted, so you won't have to retrieve any water."
-
He frowned. "You don't need to tell me what to do."
-
"It's more of a public service, with your stench. Goodnight Daniel Green." She used the portal to her room and walked out.
-
He growled lightly and shook his head. "I shouldn't have took this stupid job!" He kicked a small table over. He glared at the door to the right. He didn't actually smell bad, so what was her problem.
-
In her room, she stripped and put on her pajamas.
-
He shook his head and walked over to the door on the right and walked in. He took a really quick bath.
-
She flopped down on the bed and lost herself in thought. What would she do about the thief?
-
He was done with his quick shower and got dressed back in the only clothes he had. His hair was a soaking mess.
-
None of the magical items she had here were of any importance to her. She supposed he could have it if he wanted.
-
Daniel sighed lightly and sat on the bed. He didn't know what to now.
-
But there was no way she would share it without receiving something in return. She fell asleep, planning what to do with the thief.
