She'd rolled off of him in her sleep and was curled up in the grass.

He smiled and moved her hair a bit, kissing her temple gently. "I'll be back. I'll be getting us some food."

She smiled in her sleep.

He walked to the town carefully and bought some pastries for them both to eat. He also got a pouch full of water and another one full of his favorite wine. He walked back and held a pastry near her nose.

She was already somewhat awake when he showed up. She slowly opened her eyes. "Good morning."

He smiled and sat down. "Good morning to you too." He held out the pastry to her and the pouch of water.

She sat up and took the food from him, still trying to wake up.

He laughed. "Having trouble waking up?"

She nodded drowsily. "I had a dream about you."

He blinked lightly. "Really?and what was it about." He started eating his pastry he got.

"I turned you into a dragon, but I couldn't fully turn you back, so I gave you the ability to shapeshift. No one went after you because you could burn them to a crisp. You eventually became an actual king, or maybe more of a dictator." She eventually took a bite of her food.

He laughed loudly and smiled. "That would have been a fun thing, but I would have been a fair king."

"Oh, and I was your advisor, but really, I was in charge of your kingdom." She took another bite.

He rolled his eyes. "I think I would do perfectly fine without an adviser."

Rona laughed, then shook her head. The pastries were good.
