She rolled her eyes. Why was he smiling like that? This was fairly serious. -

He chuckled. "I'm trying not to make things look suspicious." -

"It's not really working," she murmured. "But I don't think anyone's watching. -
NOT YET. BE PATIENT.
He nodded lightly. "Well it's a good try though." He came to an old worn door and knocked twice. A chubby old man opened the door and frowned. "You're here because of a job or do you want one?" Daniel nodded to the second thing. -
She followed Daniel through the door, slightly uncomfortable about the people in the room.

The old chubby man led them to a room with no windows and closed the door behind Rona. He looked at Rona. "Never knew you worked well with others." Daniel glared at the old man as he sat down. "What job do you have for me?"
The old man laughed and smiled his black toothed grin. "Get into an old...friend of mines house in a neighboring village and steal a statue for me, a golden one. Then I'll pay you in ten gold." Daniel's eyes widened a bit at the mention of gold. -

She watched the man. For some reason, she trusted him less than she trusted anyone at the bar. -
No. I'm not :P. actually subliminal messaging is actually illegal for movies.
"We'll do the job, but for an increase in gold." The old man nodded and smiled. "Of course." He shook hands with Daniel. Daniel then started to lead her out of the place. -
this isn't a movie, it's a *bang* DAMN ARMS RACE
Rona walked along with him. She wondered if he noticed the bits of electricity shooting from her fingertips. -

When he finally got her out of the area, he looked at her. "Sorry you had to go in there. Not the most...pleasant place to get a job. But it's something." -
She shrugged. "I don't think I'll ever like it, but I'll get used to it."

He laughed lightly and started to lead her out of the village. "Trust me I'm still not used to it."

"How old are you, again?" she asked.

He looked at her. "I'm 21, why do you ask?"

"Just wondering how long it's taken you to still not be used to it." A two year age difference? He looked a bit older.
