He blinked and shrugged. "I don't feel a thing really." He started to run his hand through her hair slowly.

"Well, that's good." She smiled a little, partially because it felt good to have someone playing with her hair, and partially because he was starting to heal, but mostly because she felt completely relaxed with him. She didn't need to impress him, or use magic at all... She felt normal. As normal as one could be with a thief partner.

He smirked and kept running his hands slowly through her hair. "So~ your little trick with the guards thing was to get back at me?"

"You took my first kiss, so I had to get it back." She looked up at him.

He snorted. "I didn't know it was that bad. I'm sorry about that, but was trying t avert the guards eyes from your necklace."

"But then I ended up giving it back to you, so," she paused, smiling, "I guess it doesn't matter. And that's what you say, but I'm not sure that's entirely why..."

He rolled his eyes. "You're pretty yes, but you are pressing your luck that I'll ever do it again." He blushed lightly and looked away.

"What if I do it again?" she asked, grinning at him.

He looked at her with the most serious face he could give her. "I'll make sure you don't."

She sat up and faced him. "Really?"

He smirked. "Don't doubt me, I'll try." He chuckled lightly.

Rona got on her hands and knees and crawled forward, practically sitting in his lap. Then she gently pecked his forehead. It was a small kiss, but it was the first part of her gradual attempt.

He blushed lightly and looked at her. "You should stop now. It's not going to work."

"Are you sure?" She kissed his nose, one of her hands rested on his thigh while the other moved up to his shoulder.

He lifted one hand up and grabbed her hand that was getting near his shoulder. "stop. Don't make me pin you to the ground." He sounded serious, but that smile on his face was deceiving.
