He just kept walking, not caring if she came after him. He passed a group of guards and glared lightly at them, but they didn't notice.

She eventually got sidetracked at a bookstore and decided she'd hunt him down later.

He sighed lightly and kept walking a bit more until he got lost in the crowds. He was just trying to protect her, yet she thinks that people won't hurt her because she used magic. He shook his head and started walking again, hitting near the edge of the town.

Finding nothing of interest, she left and started searching for him again.

He kept walking down the road and stopped at a tree. He sat down and started at the ring attached to the chain on his neck.

She searched for Daniel in the crowds, but was unable to find him. It was getting late by the time she finally escaped the crowds and reached the edge of the village.

He slept peacefully behind the tree, with his master ring on his finger.

She finally found the man sleeping under a tree. She walked up and knelt down in front of him, where she watched him sleep for a while.

He woke up slowly and saw someone was in front of him, he panicked and pulled out his dagger.

She reached out and froze his motion. "Please don't stab me," she whispered.

He rolled his eyes and wanted to put his dagger away, but he was frozen in motion.

She sighed, and unfroze him. "I'm sorry about earlier." -
(nope. My dad stays out of my room.)
He looked at his dagger then put it away. "Hm, I don't understand why you would be sorry." -
my dad doesn't live with me, he called me
"I... I sounded a little arrogant, really. And if you left because of that, I'll try not to do that anymore. It was very confusing without you." She scooted past him and sat against the tree. -
(I see.)
He chuckled lightly. "You didn't sound arrogant," he turned to look at her. "And how is everything confusing without me?"
