(Yo yo!)
(Hey... I'm not joining... Just yet... But I kinda want to use this format for one of the other plays I have in mind. I would go ahead and make it right now, but I want to have IHLAOY's (and the other's) respective say-so first. The plot is entirely different, utterly. So, can I?) -
(By format, do you mean Choose Your Own Adventure? Because I don't really have a monopoly on that and couldn't stop you if I wanted to. If you mean setting though, feel free to ask me anything you might need to know.
Though these sort of things are usually setting based, so if you don't have much experience DMing, you might come under trouble.)
>Book Bonus
An awkward smile crosses your face, crossed with a light blush, as you sputter out an excuse. You just need a little more time, a minute or two more to fit the pieces together.
You look down at your lap, where you placed the book upon sitting and casually; almost unnoticeably, flip it onto the first page. Hastily written words greet you and you greet them with a quick skim. "The memoirs of a wanderlust traveler. His observations and discoveries."
Glancing up to make sure no one has noticed your distraction, you flip to the table of contents, spy what you need, and dig even deeper into the tome. It takes several seconds for you to find the title; as the writing on the page is chaotic and spread out at best, but you eventually find what you're looking for.
"Three Bean Cake.
Three Bean Cake is a popular desert among Harvesters (page 12,) Traditionalists (page 14), and Indulgists (page 25). The main ingredients of Three Bean Cake are the aforementioned three beans (see: list of up (down?) train fauna.) When ingested, Three Bean Cake works as a relaxant and tranquilizer, lulling the eater into a deep sleep. During this sleep, the eater experiences vivid dreams based on established memories. This has been theorized to help with memory lose, but not lose caused by head injury.
Long term ingestion of Three Bean Cake carries the same risks long term ingestion of Stoke Beans (see: list of down (up?) train fauna) does (loss of hair, memory damage,) and is therefore subject to removal by stewards (page 40) and the conductor (page 45.)
A wanderlust traveler should avoid eating Three Bean Cake as he should everything else, unless he has a specific reason to do so."
Looking back up, the question is still forefront on your mind. At least you won't be diving into it blind, but you can't be sure if you actually want to eat the cake at all.
>Eat it. At worst it'll just put you to sleep.
>Don't eat it. Your hair is too precious to risk.
(bleh, what a terrible post.) -

(Choose Your Own Adventure? Exactly. I actually plan to re-enact one of Choice of Games's Text Adventures.)
