Her hearing easily picked it up. "I.. I can say the same." She said softly and chances a glance at him.

Michael smiled at her, "would it be too much for me to ask to take you to a movie?" he chanced. The one he had in mind correlated with his personal intrest and their schoolwork.

She thought about this for a moment. "Depends. Are you asking me on a date?" She asked cooly and raised an eyebrow at him.

"Call it research for this," he looked at the shield. "half that, half date. How would you feel about 300: Rise of an Empire?"

A small smile tugged at her lips. "Oh alright." She nodded slowly. "Sure, it's a date then." She mused and washed her paint brushes.

He let a small smile show, "are you doing anything tomorrow?" he asked.

Ally dipped her paint in dark brown an started to outline of the wolf in the center. "Hm.. I don't think so. If anything changes I'll let you know."

He nodded, excited for this. He had wanted to see this movie, and this just seemed like a thick layer of icing on the cake...
"I'm going to grab some food," he said, "want anything?" -
"Hm.. Coffee." She shrugged and looked up at him before going back to her art work.

"What kind?" Michael asked as he stood.

"Make it sweet. Creamer and sugar please." She brushed her hair away from her face before continuing her painting.

"Got it," he said, then stood and went inside. Ten minutes later, he came back with two steaming mugs of coffee. He had liberally applied cream and sugar to hers, while he left his black. Michael crouched by her, and held the mug out.

"Thanks." She said happily and took a long drag. Licking her lips slightly she sat back and eyed her now finished work. The shield was a golden hued color with black swirls and a white wolf at its center.

Michael smiled, "hold on, forgot something." he stood, went inside, then came back with a bag of jerky,

She leaned back against the tree and quietly drank her sweet coffee. She yawned and blinked a few times.
