Thread Topic: Soap?

It was strange, to have someone else around; especially when that someone wanted and needed heat. Nothing really froze like she wanted it to. She figured out what to make, and then started to prepare it.

He pulled up a old chair and let it defrost before sitting down. It was a little damp but quickly dried. "Everything is just.. Ice." He sighed to himself as he watched the greedy flames lick the wood.

"What do you expect?" she asked, overhearing his words.

"Nothing different." He said back as he relaxed. She was strange, yet intoxicating to look at. The kingdom could use a Queen like her an yet she was hiding away from her own people.

"Oh, and by the way, when you go home tomorrow, and they wonder where you went, you're going to tell them that I didn't kill my parents. We had a visitor from a neighboring kingdom who planned on taking over ours. I'd never been vet powerful before then, but my abilities were starting to grow out of control." She frowned, and the walls started to freeze again, whisps of ice curling down from the ceiling. "He poisoned my parents, and I... I got so angry that I was able to freeze his blood."

He stood up and walked over to her, placing his hand on her shoulder. "Look, I'll tell them but.. They won't believe me unless you come with me.." He wanted to calm her down.

"I'm not leaving." She shrugged him off. Ice started to trail up his fingers.

His hand started to grow numb. "Well at least calm down."

She sighed. "Fine." Ava turned to look at him, then noticed his hand. "I'm sorry." She grabbed his hand in hers and slowly thawed it.

He ran his thumb over her knuckles before pulling his hand away. "Thanks." He walked back over to the fire and sat down.

She frowned. His warmth was pleasant. It wasn't too strong, but comforting, in a way.

"What's for dinner?" He asked without looking at her. His eyes were the color of warm honey. He was thinking about her and they way she felt in his hands.

"Every week or so, someone comes through the other side of the forest. I usually raid them. Two days ago, a trader came through. So thanks to him, steak and a couple different types of vegetables. He had wine on him too, which was a little odd, so you can have that if you want. I wouldn't drink it on my own."

"Have you ever tried... I don't know, unfreezing the forest?" He missed the animals that use to roam across the lands. In the village is was difficult to have a pet. Even a horse. So few had them due to lack of food.

She sighed. "Most of it is out of control. When I'm stronger, it's due to my emotions. That's why I froze your hand. Usually it's a whole lot worse, even with that little anger. I'm not happy very often anymore, so any time I change something, it usually gets worse." She turned to look at him. "Enough about me. I want to know about you."
