okay i'll be it
She lay in a pile of snow, one arm behind her head, one leg slightly folded up, her bare heel resting against the snow. Her other hand twirled absentmindedly in the air above her, where she created tiny flurries and acted out little snow stories. -
Sorry just as I was about to post my phone died!!)
Gabriel whistled softly, sitting against a tree just on the edge of the forest. He was sharpening one of his many skinning knives. No one dared come anywhere near the woods except him, but even he didn't go all the way inside. Whoever went in never walked out. -
Her little flurry people danced and twirled in the air. As the little flurry man bowed to the woman in thanks for their waltz, they disappeared. She got up, stretched, and started on her way through the forest.
-
Looking at his knife for a moment, clearly pleased with the blade Gabriel placed it back in in belt loop. Then he started in a skinnier, longer dagger. He slowly pivoted on his log and looked into the forest. It seems cold and unforgiving but he wanted to know it secrets.
-
She could tell she was reaching the edge due to how sparse the trees were growing. This was as far most people would come in, so this is where the village got their lumber. She sat down on a stump and counted the rings.
-
Eyeing the forest he took a step in. A step that seemed to fill the quiet cold air to himself. Bracing himself her took another and a few more. Slowly he slid into the denser part of the woods. Looking around he slowly relaxed and let out the breath he didn't know he was holding.
-
oh and she's like 20 i guess?
It had been a very old tree... older than she was. She could hear, off in the distance, someone cruching through the snow. She wondered if they'd noticed her footprints yet, and why they were there. -
Gabriel slowly walked, running his rough hands over the even rougher bark of the cold trees. It seemed like everything was locked in the cold imbrace of an unknown thing or person. "That's just a child's tale." He huffed. No one had powers. He bent down and eyed what seemed to be foot prints.
-
Ava pulled her knees up to her chest and remained on the stump. She rested her chin on her knees and watched the intruder.
-
He slowly looked around, aware of someone here but the trees where so dense he couldn't see whom it was. Standing up he narrowed his eyes. "Hide and seek is a child's game." He mused loudly.
-
She stood up, walked forward a few yards or so, then raised a thick wall of ice in front of the intruder, who she know could conclude, was male.
-
He tapped the block of ice and frowned. "Good trick my fellow." He said simply. "But could you try something more threating if you want me gone?" He pulled out his dagger and tapped the wall experimentally.
