She raised another behind him, and one on each side of him. Ice grew out from the tops to create a roof over the cage.
-
Now he had some doubt. "Are you done?" He sighed, playing it off as cocky even if he had growing fear.
-
A piece of ice grew out from one of the walls, nearly impaling him. Ava walked over to the cage and traced a rectangle on one of the walls with her finger, causing the ice inside to break into tiny bits of snow and flutter away. "Who are you?" she asked through the rectangle, peeking in at the intruder.
-
He jumped away, slamming into the wall and causing his back to be to her. "That's a good question.. What's a even better question is who are you?" He twisted to look at her and had to bend down slightly.
-
"You're trespassing. What do you want?" She glared at him.
-
"How can I be trespassing if the woods belongs to no one but the creatures that recied in in?" He said with narrowed eyes lit with humor. "I'm here because I was curiouse even though sadly, curiosity killed the cat."
-
"Give me one reason why I shouldn't freeze you for eternity." She tried to impale him again with another piece of ice.
-
He heard it an dodged it. "Because I'm incredible handsome and you can resist someone who actually took the chance to see someone so cold they seem heartless?" He tilted his head slightly, almost looking pupish.
-
Ava shrugged. "You're average at best..." She tapped one of the cage's corners, and it shattered entirely. "Get out of the forest. Now."
-
Gabriel walked out of the cage and instead of walking away like a same person would or running he simply walked over to her. His eyes eyed her up and down before looking at her. "Why should I?"
-
"Because you're trespassing. Take another step toward me and I'll freeze you." She didn't look at him.
-
He leaned on the wall, watching her and not moving. "Huh. I can't trespass on a place that dosent belong to anyone." He said simply. He didn't fear death, not much anyway. He had no one to live for.
-
"This is my forest," she growled. "Freezing you would be easy." Thin lines of ice began to make their way up his boots.
-
He stomped slightly, cracking the ice away before it would replace itself and he repeated the process. "You know... You think that after being alone for such a long time that one person would be greatly appreciated." He said with frustration tilting his words.
-
"I don't need anyone." Every time he stomped it away, she regrew it.
