He ran into town, and down a main street. He knew Tanks tracked by their limited sight, so he had to get out of it. Michael quickly ducked down another street. There. An abandoned truck. He ran at full tilt, quickly closing the distance, and jumped on the hood, the roof, then moving to jump on the container, his foot caught the edge as he became aware of a red backpack, and crashed on its owner, his right arm pulling his pistol out.
-
Ally frowned as she saw a figure running and a much larger one shambling behind. Suddenly a body of weight fell ontop of her and her instincts kicked in. Going limo her hand shot out wih a hidden dagger in her sleeve and rolled, pinning the body down with the dagger to its throat and a knee into its gut. Then she realized, this it, was a he. Narrowing her eyes in disgust she peered down at him from under her hood.
-
Dusk flattened herself to the roof as the Tank came around the corner...and another person, who promptly crashed over the backpack, which happened to belong to another person. And she had thought she was the only one alive here. Trying to keep herself invisible, she watched. One hand unconsciously pulled a pistol free from her belt, and she cocked it silently.
-
"Take the knife off my damn throat." he hissed. He pressed the pistol to her kidney. "Either you do or that Tank kills us both." he whispered.
-
"Then have fun dieing princess." She rolled away and landed onto the ground with a soft thump. Sheathing her knife she was trying to decied to take the alleys that led straight to her house or the main road.
-
Dusk didn't move, flat against the roof. The Tank was coming closer and closer. She had stopped worrying about the other people and jut focused on th's Tank, which was currently much more dangerous.
-
Michael watched the Tank from his perch. He watched the girl run off, and the tank stopped. Watching it, he determined the location of two Flood cells. His pistol came up, and three shots rang out, hitting the two Flood cells. The Tank turned toward him, its arms raised in anger, revealing the last Flood Cell.
-
Once in the alley she relaxed and watched this unknown man shoot the Tank. He had more skill then she thought. Still in the shadows she slid closer and frowned. A chittering noise came from infront of her and she watched two spider like creatures charge the man. Whipping out her dagger she hit one dead on and killed it. The other ran at her and she did the same to it. Once both were dead she grabbed her daggers, face still hidden.
-
Dusk moved with gut instinct more than anything, and she pulled the front half of her body up and shot. The bullet hit the Tank's last Flood Cell and she dropped back down, knowing even as she did so that she'd blown her cover. Cursing inwardly, she reloaded the pistol.
-
"Come on!" he yelled at the Tank as it fell, grinning. He swept around and noticed the two dead Stalkers by the alley, knowing the girl had killed it. He kept the pistol at ready low. "Thank you," he called out to the dust.
-
Her head snapped to the building where a shot went off. "What the hell.." Growling she stepped out as the dust settled. Narrowing her eyes she whipped the daggers off a cloth she pulled from her pocket. Putting the daggers back in her many hidden places she watched the man, and hidden person. "Come out!" She yelled at whoever shot the tank.
-
Flattening herself lower, Dusk drew her second pistol and made sure it was loaded before slowly standing, keeping both pistols loose in her hand but ready to use. Eyeing the two, she made no move to hide the fact she was armed and ready to attack. She didn't speak first, just watched them.
-
His first thought was Mexican standoff but that quickly faded. Michael looked at each, hands tingling on the gun. "Thanks for your help," he nodded at both.
-
A lock of her golden hair slipped out if her hood and flashed in the light. "Whatever." She grumbled. Three of them.. Now what? She looked about ready to bolt. Watching the roads and looking over to alleys she shifted, ready.
-
Dusk returned the man's nod and slowly walked to the other side of the roof, looking for a sturdy rain pipe to slide down on. She never took her eyes off of the others, though. She'd locate one later. After they left. If they left.
