Zander sighed contently as he relaxed under the hot spray. It felt good to shower after the past few days. Thinking about it, he felt disgusted and embarrassed to be around Anna when he wasn't clean.

She crawled into the bed so it'd be warm when he got out.

The blonde finished and dressed in just his underpants. He had clothing that varied in many styles, but his boxers were modern and up to date.

She was pretty sleepy, and found herself fighting to stay awake.

He smiled and climbed in beside her. "Poor thing..you must be exhausted." He hesitated at first then wrapped his arms around her, pulling her to his chest.

"Wait, hold on... if you're not wearing pants, I'm not either. They're kind of annoying, to be honest. Sorry." She pulled away for a moment, sat up, awkwardly wiggled out of them in probably the least attractive way, then snuggled up next to him again.

"You're so strange." He chuckled and let he get close again. He felt her legs against his own; They felt so soft and smooth. He smiled and sighed. "My favorite thing about this time. Women shave."

"Hm." She smiled then yawned. "Can I ask you that question now?"

"Go right ahead." He looked down at her, waiting for a response.

"Have you always been so relaxed... or has it happened gradually? Because I'm going to go insane in time if I never calm down at all." She yawned again.

"You think I've always been this way?" He laughed. "It took almost a century for me to accept being this way. Once you accept it and learn to control your bloodlust, you're more calm about it."

Well, looks like I'm oddball again.
"Well, I didn't know... some people would be relaxed about the whole thing..." She yawned again. -
"I doubt that. Rest, darling. You'll need all the energy you can store."
