She nodded. "And I'd like a shower."

"I should take one myself..After you, of course."

She shrugged.
"We could take one together.""Whatever works is fine by me." -
OH GODS. Would she even be prepared to expose herself to him? xD
"I'd just rather let you take care of your business first." -
YES.
"Alright." They drove for another ten, maybe fifteen minutes until they found a restaurant that was open through the night. "Wanna come in with me?" she asked. -
"Yes. I think I'll get some water or tea." He smiled at her and got out once she'd parked.

She got out and they walked over together.

He looked around with his eyes, always watching for any form of danger. He held Anna's hand firmly, staying by her side.

"Zander, relax... nothing's going to happen." She smiled reassuringly.

"I just worry for you.." He mumbled and pulled a chair out for her to sit in. There were a few people in the little diner, probably truck drivers.

She rolled her eyes, but was still smiling a bit. "You really don't need to. It's sweet of you to, though."

"I told you I'm watching for others who could possibly kill you. But I don't smell anything, so..Just focus on getting some food."

She laughed a little. "Alright, thank you." She looked over the menu.

He brushed hair out of her face carefully and smiled, watching her decide.

"Do you want anything?" she asked as she browsed.
