Reyna flopped onto a chair in the little cafe she'd decided to eat at. Even in here, people gave her suspicious looks, and she caught herself doing the same to others. Forcing herself to relax, she leaned back in the chair and ordered a black coffee. She could live on this stuff. Taking a sip, she nodded thanks to the waiter.
(I'm the leader of the 'good guys', correct? Who is IHLAOY's character?) -
IHLAOY Newbie(I'm playing a girl who owes debts to both sides, as well as several other influential groups, who's trying her best not to get shot in the face and die. Or at least, that's the intention.)

(My assistant... Some-body fearing me... Wow, I'm already a total bad-ass, and not two pages in. I like it. A lot.)
Nikkili was still walking towards the abandoned house, and it was barely in sight right over the horizon of the old road, hardly lit by the full moon glaring down from the sun's bright-ness. He paced over the gray slate side-walk with yarn-thin yellow and black streaks streaking across random intervals, mainly being horizontal, being that the road was built on a large hill.
He got a few looks from the few people that would actually take sight of him. When they did, they turned their heads, showing hardly any emotion except the fact that they didn't wish to interact with him, that was obvious from the slanted eye-brows and glossy eyes. Maybe it was because of his high-caliber silenced black SMG, maybe not.
Eventually, Nikkili was right up to the porch of the abandoned house. He took the wet black hood with white fire-lines on the front tip of it back, revealing his full face. He had a very small scar on his left temple, and was clean-shaven. He looked down upon the creaky, dingy wooden door with cracks and dents in it, and aimed his SMG at the plates that held the door stuck to the wall.
He pressed the trigger happily, showing a very slight grin peaking from his left corner, and the gun made a very, very faint "Tdtdtdtdtdtdtdtdtdtdtd" from the tip of his silencer, no flash coming from the front. The SMG was apparently advanced and very modified. He then kicked down the door, making it break in some places. -
(And I am arguably the disputed leader of the bad guys.)

IHLAOY NewbieA loud slap went through the building as Vivian hit herself in the head. Oh, she was so stupid. Of course it was beneath the floorboards, where else would Melody hide it? Dropping to her knees, Vivian tapped her way across the room. The moonlight shone through the window, providing Vivian with paltry light, but that didn't bother her. It was her ears she was relying on.
A grin spread across her face as she heard a hollow thunk beneath her. Taking the crowbar, she wedged it into the gap in the floor and pulled back; ripping the whole plank out of the floor. Vivian let out a sigh of relief. Everything was going to be fine.
Gunshots filled the air suddenly, and Vivian threw herself to the ground in pure reflex. Adrenaline shot into her veins, and her instincts begged her to start running, but she knew that was a bad idea. They would find her if she ran.
The door collapsed inward, splintering down the edge, as a man entered the room. His body was outlined by the glow of the moon behind him; nothing more than a silhouette among the living, but Vivian knew better. Biting her bottom lip, she stood back up.
She let out an awkward laugh as she raised her hands to show she was unarmed, before continuing, "Oh, Nik, what a surprise! You...you should have knocked, I would have opened the door." Vivian said, already kicking herself mentally as she stared at the door on the ground. Melody was going to make her pay for that too, wasn't she?
"What...what can I do for you, sir? If you put the gun down I'm sure we can work something out." Vivian asked. -
Her buzzer went off just as she began to consider joining in a game of poker. She answered it quickly, but was disappointed to see it was just another low-level grunt that couldn't figure out how to wipe his own ass without making use of the new assistant. She wondered briefly if they understood that she was above most of them.
She sighed in exasperation. This was boring. She'd accomplished each day on her own than she had this entire month. Nick was no doubt up to something considerably more interesting than this, and that only served to embitter her further. -
Running a finger over the rim of her coffee mug, Reyna let out a grunt of annoyance as her eyes flickered to the TV in the corner of the room. News about the government, news about the crumbling society. They should really try and at least keep the public informed, instead of replaying the same crap over and over again. It would make her job so much easier.
With a sigh that was so light she herself barely heard it, she stood and left a tip on the table. It would probably get stolen before the waiter even got to it, but at least she tried. Sweeping her eyes over the quiet little cafe, Reyna wrapped her hands around the hot coffee mug and left the building. -
The Dude Newbie(Ohhh... It's on...)
Nikkili breathed in and out very slowly, contemplating who might be around. Since the moon was behind him and making him nearly but a ghost in a shadow, he felt better that no-body could see him clearly until they got face-to-face with him.
"Is there any-body around?" He asked with a slight French accent to his tone, twisting his neck slowly to the left and then to the right, counting the number of turns a person could be behind. He then took a step back, making him-self very slightly behind the walls so no-body could shoot at him directly, but he could see Vivian clearly.
He knew that even if any-body WAS around him, he was confident they wouldn't be able to shoot at him with-out them blowing their cover, aiming them-selves right at Nikkili. "Sorry about the door." He said as he seen the mourning look on Vivian's face pierced with a couple rings on her bottom lip and one on her top, with another few on her eye-brows. It was almost hard to not glare at the sight that they horribly glinted in the moon-light, almost ghostly.
Nikkili stood there, pacing how many times he had been out-numbered by ambushers and killed them all, ruth-lessly. He stared into Vivian's eyes, almost as if he were reading her mind, with his eye-brows furrowing and his complexion becoming a bit suspicious. "Speak." He said with a dull frequency to it, the French accent very fading.
(Wait, "very fading"? Hmm... Gonna go. Gotta play a game on Steam and am not missing the chances. Peace.) -
IHLAOY Newbie(Alright, later.)
"You know I wouldn't trick you like that, sir. Only one other person knows we're here, and she's not going to do anything about it. Not against someone like yourself."
Swallowing loudly, Vivian wrestled with her nerves as she tried to figure out what to say. Every time she thought she'd finally found something, her heart would beat out of her chest and snap her back to reality; and the words would escape her net once again. Very slowly, Vivian ran a hand through her hair. She couldn't bring herself to match Nikkili's stare, so she simply spoke to the floor instead.
"I'm sorry! Please don't hurt me, I'm sorry. Times are tough, I'm trying as hard as I can. I...I know I'm behind, but I can make up for it! Please! I just need another chance," Vivian begged. Half a second later, she motioned with her hips towards the bag buried in the floor, "I have money, see? There's no need to do anything rash, sir. We can work together on this; I get the money and you take it, that's called a partnership. Just please don't hurt me." -
The Dude NewbieNikkili furrowed his black eye-brows, making his shallow cheeks droop a little, and the corner of his some-what hallow lips droop, letting a frown reside and a bit of a offended look drop in.
"Don't you think I know what a partner-ship is?" He said, his French accent fading back in little by little, but the tone a bit grimmer. He seemed patient, but none-the-less seemingly mad.
"I wasn't planning on hurting you... Yet... But I do plan on taking half the money, not all. You see,"Nikkili let that last segment phase in, making Vivian be more able to clarify. "... We're in a partner-ship, I know. You're behind, I know. But I have competition. And blowing some-body away just because they're a few payments behind would make me surely lose." Nikkili said, with a very solid demeanor to it, and connecting perfect eye-contact with Vivian.
"Do you under-stand? Now open the bag, I want to see how much cache it has."
(Yeah... I'm too lazy to take on this description contest... *Snores*) -
The Dude Newbie(GET YO AZZES OVER HERE!)
-
What, we were having a contest?
And sit down, Joker. :I You left. You don't get to be the impatient one. :P
"For the last time, no." she growled, watching the shaky, unkempt man walk sulkily away from her. Why did everyone think she was selling something? She'd been made less-than-generous offers on all sorts of goods from drugs to firearms to sex. This was becoming tiresome.
Though she had a good idea what she was trying to accomplish, it was still proving difficult to find a starting point. The people here were all clueless- bordering on dangerously oblivious. None of them were relevant to her task. She would have to go looking in some other place. -
The Dude Newbie(Ehh... I was... Sorta... With IHLAOY... But he didn't sign-up... I kinda pushed him/her into it. Wait, IHLAOY, are you a guy?)

The Dude Newbie(Hey, I had to go to bed!)
