Nightpaw's electric blue eyes shot open and in a few mere seconds he was sitting in front of his mentor, blinking the sleep from his eyes. "Yes Stormgaze." He said.

Daypaw sighed. "Waterpaw, what's it like to be a real apprentice?" She asked.

Redpaw finished off her mouse and rose to pad bak into the medicine den.

"It's... hard to explain." Waterpaw meowed.

Firepaw quickly came over. "Hello sir."

"Patrol." Thunderfang told the apprentices. "Come on." Nightpaw nodded.
Daypaw sighed. "Could you try?" -
Firepaw followed silently.

The deputy wandered out of the tunnels and turned to the apprentices. "Firepaw, Nightpaw, you two hunt. Stormgaze and I will scan the borders."

Firepaw nodded and dashed off.

Nightpaw raced after her.

Stormgaze watched them dart off with humor lighting his stormy eyes. "We should take them battle training later." He said towards his deputy.
Juneheart was done with her meal as her apprentice returned. "How was your meal dear?" She asksed between rasp of her tounge flashing over her thick pelt. -
Firepaw sunddenly ducked down and was stalking something. "A squirrel..." She whispered.

"It was fine." Redpaw said with a quick smile.
Nightpaw sat down silently to wait. This was Firepaw's catch.
Thunderfang nodded. "We should." -
Firepaw pounced out but the mouse escaped. She stood up again with an angry grunt.

"Good good.. You know you don't have to stay around here all day dear, we don't have cats in right now." She chuckled and silently sent a prayer to StarClan in thanks of that.
The tom fell silent as he padded through the lush undergrowth and trailed along the borders. Nothing new, as usule.
