Darkkit purred. "Hi!" He said padding towards the shy kit.
Juneheart nodded. "You'll smell catmint because it with us. And dandelion is over there." Points with her fluffy tail. "We want tansy and water mint." -
Dawnwhisker nudged Sunkit towards Darkkit with a softly amused purr.
Redpaw nodded. "Oh, alright." She padded over to the plants that Juneheart had indicated and began to carefully pluck the herbs away from their roots. Placing them onto the leaf bundle, the young apprentice looked up at her patched companion. "Do you think any cats will get greencough this Leafbare?" She asked, a nervous edge in her meow. Greencough had killed Redpaw's father moons ago, and the she can't still mourned for him. -
"Um... Hi."

Darkkit pawed at her softly. "I'm Darkkit." He announced happily. "Lightkit is my sister." He sat down infront of her.
The calico shrugged. "Not quite sure." She sighed quietly. "The caverns protect us from the cold wind but once you come out here..." She shivers as a cold breeze blew her silky fur. "Come on. That should be enough for today." She said to her apprentice before picking up her leaf bundle and started to head towards camp. -
Redpaw nodded, smiling adoringly up at her mentor. "You're so smart Juneheart." She cast a final glance at the forest before entering the main tunnel, the scent of dew and pine needles replaced with the earthy scent of the tunnels. "I hope I can be as good of a medicine cat as you are."
Bramblekit padded over and sat down next to Darkkit. "Hi! I'm Bramblekit. Who're you?" -
"Um... Sunkit. You might know my brother Moonkit. The silver tom with lighter patches..."

Stonekit grinned at Sunkit. "I'm Stonekit!"

"Well uh.. Hey. And what do you do here with the elders?"

Stonekit looked down at his paws. "We, uh, got in trouble, and our punishment was to take care of them..."

"How is that a punishment? They are very nice and wise..."

Juneheart chuckled, "Moons of experience my dear.. You will be if you stick with me." She purred. "Thank you for the compliment." She headed towards her den and starts to separate the herbs.
Lightkit yawned and her stomach growled loudly. "Okay then." She chuckled lightly. Darkkit purred with amusement. "Maybe we should all take a break and get some prey." He mused. -
Redpaw smiled and nodded. "Sure, Juneheart." She twitched her whiskers and padded back into camp, her pads barely making a sound on the soft dirt floor.
Bramblekit made a face. "They may be nice and wise," Blazekit appeared behind her brother. "But have you ever cleaned ticks from another cat's hide?" They both wrinkled their muzzles. -
"Yeah i've done it a few times!"

Lightkit yawned sleepily. "Mouse bile isn't too fun." Makes a face. Darkkit pawed playfully at Sunkit.
Juneheart yawned and sat down on the well worn dirt ground. Gentle taking the herbs she started to separate them and stack them carefully away into the herb storage. "Would you like to go eat?" She asked looking at Redpaw. -
Redpaw nodded. "Yes please."
Blazekit shook her head. "Huh. So you like being with the elders?" Bramblekit scowled slightly. "They're not so bad..." He muttered. Nightfeather laughed. "He's right! We're not that bad, are we Blazekit?" Blazekit, now embarrased, wriggled her whiskers and looked down. "I guess not..." She hopped into the air, flicking out her tail. "But I'd rather be hunting, like a real warrior!"
