She went into the bathroom and put on the bathing suit, slipping the shirt on over it. She had to tighten the straps a bit more than they were probably meant to be tightened but, other than that, it fit fine.

He changed clothes and grabbed his board. He walked out and slipped on his aviators and then bent down to put on Jaxs life vest before whistling a time and he waited for her by the front door.

She met him there, bare feet making no sound on the floor. "Let's do this, hm?" She opened the door before he could and brushed past him eagerly, ready to do something new and exciting and beautiful.

He chuckled as she darted past him. Jax barked and ran after her on large puppy feet. He closed and locked the door behind him and followed them outside. He smiled when the warm sun hit his body. Sliding his board into the truck bed Zayn climbed into the drivers side and awaited for the other two to get in.

She slid into the passenger seat and watched Jax, a smile playing on her lips. "Quite the interesting dog you have."

He smiled as Jax looked around and bounced around. "He is isn't he?" Zayn started to drive towards the beach.

She watched the road ahead of them without replying, eyes bright with childlike excitement.

He pulled onto the beach and people waved as he passed. A lot of people. Pulling to a stop he shut the truck off and him and Jax lept out of the truck. Pulling down his truck bed he slid out his board and waited for her.

She observed the people waving at him wryly. "You popular here?" She asked teasingly, climbing out of the car and waiting a bit akwardly for him, suddenly aware she really didn't know what to do or where to go.

Jax barked and tore off towards the water the sand flying behind his tiny legs. Zayn nodded slowly "Told you. Been here since I was born." Chuckles quietly and follows after his pup more slowly.

She followed Jax and allowed the salty water to lick over her toes. She sighed, watched the waves lap over the sand and back into the ocean, drawing back shells and mussels with it.

He slid into the water with his board. Jax doggy paddled over and climbed onto and took his spot in the front. "Good boy." Zayn slid onto the board after him as at up and paddled forward.

She watched him paddle out. "Hey!" She called after his figure, which was quickly getting smaller, "Is there a board for me or something?"

He stopped "uh.. I haven't got any of my other boards on me. You can practice on mine." He grinned as a huge wave started to come up. He stood up and hit the wave perfectly.

She chuckled as she watched him, the briny wind grabbing her hair and tossing it back. She pushed it away from her face and stepped knee-length into the water.
