She didn't really find it funny, but she didn't have time to say anything before he was gone. She sighed, running her hands through her hair. Or trying to. It was so tangled she couldn't get her fingers through it. Shower, then. She headed towards the room and looked around, hoping to find clothes. Sure enough, there were some. They'd probably be too big...but she could manage. She turned on the shower and undressed, frowning as she saw her scars in the mirror. Shaking her head, she got under the hot water.
-
The balcony connected to the living room so he left the door open. He was quiet as he slid the cloth up and down and side to side to get it clean. Once it was clean he grabbed a red cloth and started the process again. He found comfort in cleaning it and the smell of wax calmed him down.
-
Silver bathed swiftly, stepping out of the bathroom feeling refreshed. She managed to find some clothes that fit her alright. She threw away her old clothes. Never would she wear those again. She tugged through her hair with a comb she found in the bathroom and braided it deftly.
-
Jax fell asleep next to his masters feet. Even though Zayn's board was done he still waxed it just because he could. His muscles bunched and realised as he moved around it.
-
She hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do. Finally she headed towards the balcony and slipped onto the chair opposite of Zayn's without a word, watching his meticulous movements.
-
He didn't look up but just kept waxing his white and blue surf board. "What's your name anyways?" He said quietly.
-
"Silver." She answered, continuing to watch his movements. They were...mesmerizing to her. She leaned her head on her hands and eyed him.
-
He nodded his head a few times before relaxing once more. His movements stopped but his fingers spread lovingly over the board. "Hakuna Matata." He said with a small smile that made his only dimple stick out. He looked up at her and the sun lit up his golden hair.
-
"No worries." She replied. For a moment, she was arrested in the moment. She couldn't help but think that he was attractive. She quickly tore her gaze away, standing hurriedly. "Where's some water?"
-
He blinked and stood up and carried his board inside. Jax woke and yawned before padding after them. "Fridge." He said carring it to his room. He left the door open and set it up against his dark blue walls.
-
She grabbed a water bottle and sipped water out of it, then followed him carefully. She wasn't used to being able to walk around so freely-- and she couldn't get enough of it. She patted Jax as she walked into his room, still holding the water bottle.
-
His walls were covered in posters of famous surfers or bands, or sometime maps with red and blue pins dotted across places he wanted to go to or has been too. He had a laptop perched on his bed and a tv on a dresser stand infront if his bed. He had CDs on a glass table that had electronic to mix music with. "Hey." He looked up from his board.
-
She nodded in response and slowly stretched. She suddenly felt awkward. She hadn't felt awkward in.. forever, it seemed. Around sixty, she'd gained confidence, gotten through the puberty stage, and put it behind her. So why was it coming up again? She leaned against the wall, looking at the maps.
-
He walked over and sat down in the roll around chair and put a huge set of DJ head phones on but pulled one off one ear to listen if she said anything. He booted up the computers and started to mix a song.
-
She didn't say anything, just kept watching him intently. She really wanted to do something...what, she didn't know. But she was finally free, and she'd been in the same place for almost the entire time she'd had her freedom.
