IHLAOY Newbie"You are pretty new here, aren't you?" Cutter asked, skipping forward. "All the bedrooms are in one big group between the walls on the edges and the buildings in the middle. I'm in bunk 43, which is between 42 and 44. But they're empty anyway, which is good for me."
Eventually, the sounds of the fight started to fade as the two disappeared deeper into the camp, and Cutter turned around again; his hand having found it's way to his arm a while ago. "So what's your story, Kass? Did you get kidnapped like me?" -
This might be a little lengthy.)
"Hmm." she thought for a moment. "You could say 'kidnapped'. They also toke me in at fifteen, feed me, trained me to fight, and gave a dozen pills a day and oh, last but not least, they gave me a few shots a day." she said still thinking back. Her six years there felt like forever. She drifted off in deep thought.
Kass kept turning different keys, but none would open the door to the weapons. "Omygo-" her friend was cut off by the guards pulling her off and covering her mouth. Kass screamed as the guards grabbed her arms and dragged her to a solitary room. They locked her arms and legs to a table, and called the head leader. Madam, the only thing she was called by anyone, walked in. "Second time young lady." she said with out a glance toward her. "As for your punishment." she continued.
Kass shook her head getting the memory away from her thoughts. A little sweat formed on her forehead. Madam was the last person she wanted to think about. -
Shade watched the injured man get into a new tent as she stood. Her eyes scanned the campsite. Rebels were reforming, accessing damage, helping the wounded, scaring off the few daring WW4 agents left. She pulled out a gun and shot the last one herself in a smooth, practiced movement.
She looked away from her target to see Cutter and the new girl walking towards the woods. His arm was bandaged, but in a very sloppy way, his opposite hand pressed against the wound. She frowned, slipping her gun into its holster and loping towards the two.
'Oi, what did you do to your arm?' She asked Cutter, glancing at the other girl, who appeared to be in deep thought. -
IHLAOY NewbieCutter's house wasn't anything special. Perfectly identical to the two next to it and any other cabin in the camp. But it was his, for the time being, and he liked that.
Coming up to the door, Cutter tried to open it with his injured hand, winced, and tried again with the other. "Well, pills aren't really that bad. I mean, everyone needs to take pills, they keep you alive. They put them in the food here to make it easier for everyone though, so you might wanna ask them to stop that if it makes you uncomfortable." Cutter said, pushing the door open.
His house was a mess. Bottles of pills and tablets lined every surface, books and mess cluttered the ground, his bed was half on the ground and a huge map of the entire complex covered the wall. "But anyway, come on in. It's weird though, I wonder why we never met each other before then." -
She sighed at the mess. "They separated the boys from the girls during the training." she said picking up a book to observe the cover. "My friends told me they did that so no 'accidents' would happen, if you know what I mean." she could help a small giggle from escaping her mouth.

IHLAOY Newbie(s---, sorry Wolf. I'm not used to the preview button not showing other's replies.)
"I'm afraid I'm not following? No...no wait, I think I do. Cooties, right?" Cutter said, leaning against the doorway. -
Another giggle slipped out. "Not exactly." she bursted out laughing right after her statement. "Oh gosh. Did they give you the health class while you were there?" she asked trying to keep calm.
-
(It's fine. I'll write up a different reply.)
As Shade shot the last agent, she spotted Cutter and the new girl walking into the woods. Glancing around, she saw nothing else that caught her attention or immediately commanded her concern, so she jogged after them lightly. They entered a small little house-- more of a cottage, really-- and she looked in, her eyes taking in the small, cluttered place.
"What did you do to your arm?" Was the first thing that came out of her mouth, breaking into the end of the girl's sentence, even though the conversation was getting quite funny. Her eyes were drawn inevitably to the wound, curiosity crowding in. Of course, he had been practically oblivious to the shooting, so it wasn't that surprising. -
IHLAOY NewbieCutter rubbed the back of his head, wincing again as more pain went through his arm. "Not exactly? We don't really have much lessons here, they let you do practically anything you want."
Jumping as someone appeared behind him, Cutter moved back so that he could talk to both of the girls easily. "No need to worry, something just bit me, happened all the time. I've already put a bandage on, so it's all fine." Cutter said, pulling the bandage up to the wound from where it had slipped. "How are you, by the way? No injuries, no illnesses? All fine?" -
"Ok then." she said playing with the pages of the book. "So where do I sleep?" she asks fidgeting more than usual. Back at WW4 base they hit her if she wasn't doing the write thing-such as fidgeting.
"You really don't know when to stop yoing lady, don't you." she asks walking toward my direction. Kass keeps a blank expression, staring at the ceiling. "Electric shock." She states more than asking. Her breath quickens at Madams remark.
Kass gulps at the memory. It was a frequent thought for the last few years. -
Shade glanced at the girl. "I don't believe I ever caught your name. You alright?"
She then turned to Cutter. "That bandage won't hold. Mind if I tie it up? I won't touch you, just the bandage. And yes, I'm fine. No damage done here." -
As Lauren helped people with bandaging their wounds, she heard a man say: "Why did those agents have to come?" She also heard someone imprecate towards WW4. Lauren sighed. This was making her want to tell everyone even less.
-
IHLAOY NewbieCutter was silent for a moment, before his bandage slipped down his arm again. Slowly, he nodded his head. "Alright, tie it up better. Just be careful," he said.
Turning back to Kass, Cutter waved his arm in front of her face, trying to catch her attention from the seemingly endless illusions she conjured up in her mind. "Cutter to Kass, come in Kass. Are you there?" he asked, before continuing, "Well, I guess we'd need to go find someone from the rebellion so you can check in and get your own cabin. Usually they hold four people, but I'll die before I let someone stay in my house." -
Kass kept her gaze on the floor until something scurried by-most likely a bug. "What? Oh, uh. So do you live alone?" she asks not really thinking. Kass's feelings crawling behind her eyes. "Or am I gonna have to ask someone to sleep somewhere, cos I'd really like to get a place to sleep before dark really sets."
-
IHLAOY NewbieMoving further into the house and away from Shade suddenly, Cutter tried his best to make Kass understand. "Well...not exactly. It's hard to explain. Oh, oh, I know, look at this."
Moving again, and pushing aside a pile of trash as he walked, Cutter pointed at the large map on the wall. Sections of it were marked with bright red X's, but Cutter ignored those. "Basically, it works like this. The rebel's have set up a barricade, a bloody huge one, around this entire neck of the woods," Cutter said, running his finger along a shoddy circle on the map, "We just came back from it, so you should know what it looks like. Further in is the cabins. Every rebel lives in one, they're usually pretty basic. I've got one, I think Shade has one, Sir definitely has one. And you can't use one without the rebel's knowledge." Cutter said, moving on, "Go further in and things get more difficult, you've got storage, training facilities, armories, anything you might need to survive a firefight." And then, Cutter pointed at the middle of the map, "And then there's Sir's house. The head of operations, the big cheese. Nothing happens that he doesn't know about; at least in this camp."
Stepping forward again, Cutter grinned, "And that's about it. So yea, you and me are gonna need to head into the social part of camp to get you a place to stay. Understand?"
