Ronnie scampered under a table, well-hidden by the long, draping sheets. She licked up a few crumbs on the ground, saw a fallen crumpet, and immediately swiped it up.
-
Patch crawled over to Ronnie, a bronze candle holder between her teeth.
-
Ronnie grinned, revealing the crumpet. But it wasn't good enough; she'd have to steal something bigger to prove herself.
-
Patch grinned back. Placing her find on the ornate carpeted floor underneath the table, she whispered. "Great job! Anything worth keeping, place it under this table," She smiled again. "And don't get caught."
-
Ronnie nodded, carefully wedging the crumpet under the table. She bounced away to find more items.
-
Kito had begun his own stash under a table near the exit. Being a master thief, his pile included a scarlet colored velvet cushion, and a diomond necklace. Patch was still searching.
-
Ronnie spotted a shimmering silver bracelet, supposedly dropped by a busy dancer. Carefully peering around, she scooted forward to retrieve it.
-
Yay! We're both on! *hugs*)
Seagull spotted her, but kept dancing. As an undercover shifter, she knew that the strange dog was probably not supposed to be here. -
*hugs back*)
Rubycrested didn't bother to open her eyes. She was a very talented dancer, and knew many sweeping sashays, such as the "Leash Lope" and "Dogtrot". -
Leash Lope! Awesome! XD)
Jeff decided to take change and pulled his partner close. "How about the Tug of War?" He asked. "Do you know that dance?" -
Kito and Patch scampered around the dancing couples, avoiding paws and sneaking under tables.
-
Rubycrested sighed. "No... isn't it only for the most advanced of dancers? I could never dream of completing such a difficult move..."
-
"I'll show you." He offered.
-
"Okay," agreed Ruby, once again taking Jeff's paw. "So, how is it done?"
-
"One step forward, one step back," He stared, showing her the moves. "One, two, three, one two three, and twirl!" He said, pulling her into the dance. "That's how it starts."
