Fang landed at the outskirts of the town, near a Pound.

Total got put inside a cage. He scratched at the bars, but didn't speak.
Max waited. -
Fang looked at a worker. "Actually, can I get a dog? A different one?"
(And then Angel figures out and goes to save Total later on.) -
(yep)
Total whimpered loudly, eyes scared.
Max waited some more. Then she decided to sit under her tree. -
The worker nodded. "All we have is an Akita named Kona."

"I'll take it." Fang would tell the kids Total ran off and he found this dog while looking for him

Kona licked his face.
Max saw him come back. "Over here!" She called. -
Fang smiled and walked over.

Kona followed and pushed through the branches and sat down. She gave her creamy-white fur a lick.
Max smiled back. "Hey." -
Fang smiled.

Max sat down, her back against the tree.
Kona laid down, wagged her tail, and started to rub her face inside the grass. -
Fang chuckled. "Such a quiet new dog!"

"hm." She wasn't really caring about the dogs right now. She let the breeze ruffle her feathers.
