Tia quickly sculpted an item out of water and magically enchanted it so it kept its form. She lifted it up to examine it. She nodded. It was good for now. She swung it. It felt fine. She had created a sword. She put it on the grass behind her and picked up another water drop. But it melted out of her hands. Tia's eyes widened. She was out of extra magic.
-
Shara twirled to face Tia. She rumbled, alarmed. She wished she could speak, to say, 'run, little elf, before you're hurt!'
-
Tia couldn't understand Shara, but she got the message. Tia shook her head. "I'm staying here, Shara." She said. She dug through her bag and pulled out her daggers. She stared at them for a second, debating whether or not to use them again. Her hands answered her question. She picked up the daggers. She also picked up the water sword and handed it to Jordon. "I'm helping." Tia said, firmly.
-
Shara made a noise that was between a grunt and a whine. Eyeing the young girl pleadingly, she tried again. Jordan, talk some sense into her! She could die! So could you, which is why neither of you are fighting!
-
Tia knew, even though she couldn't communicate with her, that Shara still didn't want her to fight. She sighed. "Fine." She said quietly. "But if anything happens, I'm helping." She said, smiling. She knew it was a strange time to smile. But Tia was weird this way, and she knew it.
-
Shara sighed in appreciation, nuzzling the small girl before turning to growl at the water, waiting for it to react.
-
Tia sat behind the water shield that was still rising. She was using the last of her magic to keep it rising. She took her daggers and placed them in the water shield. The daggers would increase the amount of damage the shield could take.
-
Roaring fiercely, Shara lunged at the beast, snapping out her long neck.
-
Gtg, bye!)
-
Jordon kept behind the shield as well. (Bia!)

(OH MY GOSH!! *whines* How much have you guys done without me?? But don't worry, I'm all caught up. I read it.)
Nova huddled, afraid, in another bush. Oh no, he thought, drawing in a long breath, then exhaling. He did not know very well how to handle a sword except for creating one. I mean, that was all he had ever done life, right??
Out of his linen sack, Nova fetched a gleaming steel sword he had been working on. It was finished, he could tell; the hot sun had melted it into shape. -
Tia sat behind the shield feeling guilty for not helping. It was her fault that this monster was here. She wanted to help. But she promised not to.
-
Nova bravely stood up and headed into the spot of the battle. And he had a plan
After all, wasn't he the quiet one?
Silently, Nova waded out into the pond. Good, he thought, eyeing the fierce beast. It doesn't notice me... yet!!
Nova drifted steadily (still not making a sound) until he was close enough to the monster. Then Nova made the loudest noise he had ever made before. "YYAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!" he cried, slashing the beast's back with his sword.
To avoid its slashing claws and intimidating jaws, Nova ducked underwater, stabbing it again- this time its tail. -
Jordon had a small, sharp-tipped sapling sprout up from the ground. He pulled it's roots out of the ground, and, stepping out of the shield, threw it like a spear at the monster.
-
Tia's head jerked up. She sensed Nova in the water. She strained to see past Jordon and Shara and saw the water moving. Her eyes widened. She glanced at the shield and smiled. It was just the right height. She made it stop growing. She still had a bit of magic left. She waited for a good time to use it.
