Naomi froze, eyes wide. Then she spoke in a shrill, faint voice, "...M-me? Me?!! Be... YOUR bridesmaid!! Oh, Runa, of course I will!"
"Great," purred Mastiff, turning to leave. "I will now go ask Flint to be my best man."
And he was off. -
(Bump, and Lucky, you're Flint, right? If not, that's okay. There are so many charries I can't keep track of them all!!)

Runa smiled brightly. "Thanks. Now I just need to go find Kuna and Fawn and ask them to be bridesmaids..."
Flint was lounging about with Soldier. -
Oh don't feel bad!! I'm the one who's always bumping and such...)
Mastiff plodded up to Flint and Soldier. He turned to Flint first. "Hey, Flinty, you heard the news??" -
"Heard? Heard what?" Flint asked his old friend. The gray tom stretched out and hopped off of the old crate on which he had been perched.

"I'm engaged," mewed Mastiff proudly, puffing out his chest. "to Kuna!"

^You mean Runa? XD Flint woulda flipped out if Mastiff was marrying his sister.)
"That's great!" The limber tom flicked his long ash colored tail in amusement. "Congratulations." Soldier added. The large black male's pale blue eyes shone with happiness for his old friend. -
RUNA!!! I MEANT RUNA!!! Oh man!)
Mastiff grinned at them both, but turned to Flint. "Flint... could we talk in private??" He pulled Flint along to an abandoned corner in the alley. "I'd like you to be my best man... err... cat," he said. -
I thought so. XD)
"It'd be my pleasure, pal!" He exclaimed with a crooked grin. -
"Sweet!!" cried Mastiff happily, playfully slugging Flint in the shoulder. "Tell Soldier he can come too! Heck, anyone can come!!"
Mastiff raced away, heart bursting with joy. -
Flint chuckled after his old friend. He went back and spread the news to Soldier, Kuna, Winona, Streak, Alice, Swifttail, and Miku.

Streak gasped in shock. "Mastiff... married? Really?!"
Alice and Swifttail had been tending to a few stray kittens whom they were nursing back to health. As the news arrived to them, they wondered how they would arrive... it was quite a large party...
