"Jewel!" Misty meowed tearfully, leaping at her. She nuzzled the smaller she cat fiercely. "I missed you so much...!" -
Jewel looked up, her eyes filled with love. Then the love faded away as she once reminded her that no matter how much she wished it, Misty was not and never was her mother. Sadness filled her eyes as she looked down once more.

"Oh, Jewel..." Misty backed away, her voice sounding horrified and breathless. Her glassy sea green eyes wavered uncontrollably, and her lip trembled. "I-I lied..."

"I-" Jewel cut herself of, not sure it she should say anything.

"I...I..." She stuttered quietly. Then, with a sudden outburst of pent up guilt, she bury into tears. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm so, so sorrryy!" she wailed.

Suddenly, Jewel's eyes went moist, but she tried to blink the tears back. Yet she failed. Suddenly, she was weeping silently. She tried to say something, but couldn't.

"...so, so sorry...!" The shaking loner mother was sniffling pitifully.

Suddenly, Jewel whimpered out, "I-I-I-Iforgiveyou."

"..." There was sudden silence as Misty processed what had happened. "...really?" She asked in a small voice.

Jewel's head moved in a small nod.

Misty smiled tentatively, her adopted daughter's small gesture changing her whole perspective. -
(*frowns, and sighs* Ok...
Hey, guess what? I got my report card today! All A's!)
Jewel sent Misty a small smile. -
YAY! Nice job!! :D)
Misty blinked her tears away and chuckled embarrasedly. "Sorry...again..." -
Jewel just smiled again.
(I know! But now I have to question the logic of having the week where we have a test in every subject after they cut of grades...) -
That's crazy! But then, I've never seen much logic in school...jk! But that senna a little unfair...)
"Have you seen the others? Why are you back? Are you alright? Are you staying? How did Shock find you?" Now that she had been forgiven, the black, silver, and white patched she cat wanted to know every detail of her "daughter's" dissappears nice.
