Lilyheart was next to a stream near the Cavernclan boarder, digging up a few roots. A pile of uprooted plants sat to her side, and her apprentice was vanishing from view, carrying some herbs back to the Jayclan camp.
Bearpaw's gaze wandered everywhere except towards Barkpaw. -
Ivystar spotted Lilyheart and padded over. He cleared his throat, hoping to get her attention without startling her.
Barkpaw glanced at him again. -
"Willowpaw, wha-" Lilyheart jumped slightly when she looked up. "Oh, h-hello, Ivystar. " Her bright green eyes showed that she was curious at why the Cavernclan leader was here in Jayclan territory.
Bearpaw glanced at her, then quickly looked away. -
Barkpaw tilted her head, still blushing a bit. "Something wrong Bearpaw?"
Ivystar smiled. "Hello Lilyheart. I was actually just looking for you. You see, I, uh...O just died. And I spoke with Nettlestar in Starclan. She said something about you, I was wondering if you had any connection to her." -
"Nettlestar? I don't know if I have any connection to her. I've seen her once or twice in Starclan, though."
"Oh, uh, it's nothing!" Bearpaw meowed, still looking away. -
"Oh, did she say anything important?"
Barkpaw frowned. "Bearpaw, what's wrong?" -
Lilyheart shook her head. "No, not really."
"Oh, nothing ' s wrong! " He insisted. -
The black tom frowned. "Oh, alright. Thanks anyway."
"Tell meeeeee~" she whined. -
"No waaaaaaaaaaaay!" Bearpaw countered.
"I'm sorry I couldn't tell you anything helpful. " -
"It's fine. Thanks again." He turned and started to pad off.
"Plleeeeeeeese?" -
Lilyheart sighed, gathered up the herbs, and went back to Jayclan camp.
"Nooooooo!" -
"Why not?" She huffed.

"Because! "

"That's not a reason, Bearpaw." She argued.

"Yes it is!"
