Here's more of the story!
Lucy carried herself along the road. She felt the gravity pulling her with every step. When she came across the public road, she adjusted her cloak, making sure her ears weren't visible. She did the same with her sleeves. Something told her she shouldn't leave the forest. After walking for about an hour, she didn't see signs of the town anywhere. Lucy sighed and wanted to relax. She decided to draw her bow and practice some more, before looking further. When she shot, once again the arrow missed and fell in the grass. "Just pull the arrow back further." Said a feminine voice. A girl, slightly younger then Lucy walked up to her. "Can i help?" She asked. "Sure..." Lucy replied, not knowing how to react. The girl demonstrated how to shoot without an arrow. "Your turn." Lucy fetched her arrow and copied what the girl did. This time the arrow hit the tiny birch she was aiming at. "Wow... Thanks. What's your name?" Lucy asked. "Raven." The girl replied. Raven... That sounds oddly familliar. Lucy thought. Something about the girl just told her she could be trusted. That they were alike. "Can you show me the way to town? There should be one in the area. I'm Lucy by the way" Lucy asked. Raven seemed slightly hesitant. "Alright, i'll show you." Raven started walking. Lucy followed.
The duo soon entered town. Lucy recognized the streets, she was in the right place. She and Raven hadn't talked that much along the way, but still felt good about her. "I'll go now, good luck with..." "No, please." Lucy interrupted Raven. She wasn't sure why she did it. "What?" Raven looked surprised. "I... I don't know. I just thought we could go to the market together?" Lucy tried. "Uh... I guess." Lucy smiled and hurried to the market. She walked to the vegetable shop. "Welcome welcome to the vegetable shop everyone we have the lowest prices in all the kingdom!" A girl behind the counter called out. The girl looked at Lucy and Raven and smiled awkwardly. "Uh, first day?" Raven asked. "And the only one. I'm just replacing a guy for some money..." The girl replied. Lucy nodded. "Can i just have... Something under the price of 1 bronze coin. "I could give you this bag of potatoes." The girl put a bag on table. "That would be great." Lucy put the coin on table and grabbed the bag. She walked away from the store, she opened her mouth to say something, but was interrupted by a deep male voice. "Give that to us." A man said to her, standing over the girls threateningly. "No!" Lucy protested. "I said give it here!" The man pulled a knife. If there was one thing the town was known for. It was lack of police, and lack of people willing to fight. They were on their own. Lucy got frightened at the sight of the knife and took a step backward, but still stood her ground. So did Raven. "N...No!" Lucy stuttered. The man started to attack them with the knife. Lucy managed to dodge for a long time. Raven pulled Lucy's arm. "We should just run with the food." She suggested. Lucy nodded and tried to run. However another man tripped them. The two men stood over them. "Well well. This is what happens when two girls try to fight." One of them said. The other one laughed along. "Let's just finished this." The man with the knife grabbed Raven and put a knife to her throat. "My mother would be proud of me now, haha." He pressed closer. "On one... two..." "NO!" Raven suddenly vanished. All the bystanders gasped. "What was THAT?!" One of the men started shaking heavily. "It's a LUCEAT" A woman screamed. Raven reappeared next to a stand. All faces turned to her. The crowd was in shock. "What if she's one too!?" Another woman pointed at Lucy. "M...Me?!" Lucy slowly backed away from the market. The man with the knife attacked Lucy, and he managed to cut her in her arm. Overpowered by all the emotions, she made a fist and swung at the man. More gasps from the crowd. Lucy felt like she couldn't open her eyes, but she did. She looked at the man. Lucy watched in horror as the man looked at a huge burn wound. "It's true! They're both Luceat's!" He yelled. Lucy looked at Raven, who had emerald green gleaming marks all over her skin. She looked at her own. The same marks had appeared on her skin, but red. It was like a nightmare. But it wasn't a dream. This was real. Raven ran to Lucy's side. There were people everywhere, all gathering weapons."Raven, you vanished and reappeared earlier... Just go!" Lucy yelled. "I... I can't! I don't know how! It just happens!" Lucy felt even worse. Her new friend couldn't escape. Was this the end? -
