Nightwing sat down on the sidewalk in front of the house. "Well, it looks like Oakstripe's not coming back to camp..." -
Will sat down next to her. "Yeah..."

She sighed and stood up, smiling apologetically. "Sorry I had to drag you around for nothing."

"It's ok. At least you know where one of your friends is. Maybe you can convince him to come back later."

She nodded. "Maybe. Though with a she cat like that..." She chuckled and shook her head, wondering how Oakstripe had managed that so quickly.

"...So, what's it like at your clan?"

Nightwing's eyes seemed to light up. "It's incredible. So many cats, all working together...the battles, the hunts, it all makes you feel so free..."

"Maybe..." Nightwing looked at her paws. "We've done it before...Snowflake, Flamesoul...even Keith..." She muttered. "Harry too..." She looked up brightly. "Then I will show you. If you're willing, I think you'd be allowed to join the clan."
