Loud yowling outside of the den woke Rattail up again.

Dogstar stirred from his sleep... "...die, mousebrain..." He muttered.

An elder walked in. "You can't do this." she said.

"Yes I can..." in his dream, Ivystar had said the same thing when Dogstar was about to slice his throat for the final time.

"We elders cannot hunt!"

"... die, Ivystar... die..."

"DOGSTAR!"

"AHH!" Dogstar shot to his paws, eyes narrowed, claws unsheathed.

"Dogstar, elders can't hunt!"
