Puzzle mewled as her tail was swatted, but soon after collapsed giggling.
"Why?" Nightwing asked. -
"Um... I don't know." Redd mewed.

Quilt giggled as well.
"I couldn't stand them. They kept me locked up in the house. The first time they left a door open, I made a break for it." -
"Good choice." She shuddered. "I'd hate to be locked up."
Puzzle sat up. "Please?"

"Yeah, Redd, c'mon!"
"I'm glad I left..." -

"It just seems pretty rough is all." -
"It's not that bad." Puzzle answered. She hopped down from her perch on Plum's back and scampered over to her brother. "Come on, chase me!" She said, pawing at the air playfully.
"So what is it like?" The she cat asked. Surprisingly, she was already starting to feel comfortable talking to this cat. "Being held down, locked up.." -
"It's like being trapped in one place forever, never doing anything new, always seeing the same things, always gazing out a window, wondering what the outside world was like..." Will let his voice trail off.

(Funny you say that! Everyone predicts that Monday (The day I go back to Scruel(Nickname for School around here)) there's going to be so much snow, so I might get an extra day or 2 off!)

"At least you're free now." She offered, trying to steer away from the subject. -
"Yeah..."

(Snow for you, terrible hail storms here! If i go out now i might not come back to chat here again...)

Quilt scampered over. "C'mon, Redd! Play with us!" -
