Quilt ran forward and leapt at Puzzle. -
Sandy jumped backwards.

"That's the way they thought." Her eyes narrowed just slightly. "They were wrong. Pain will fade over time."
Puzzle yelped and rolled onto her back. "Hey!" -
Sandy pounced into Quilt.

(Will! Hurry up! We're waiting!)
Quilt squeaked as Sandy pounced on her. -
"Will it fade? Or will you just become used to it?"

"Gotcha!" Sandy stood on Quilt's back.

Quilt squirmed, trying to get him off.

Sandy jumped up and down.

Ash chuckled as Puzzle atempted to climb onto his back. "You're taller than my mama."

Plum kept a close eye on Ash with her kit, -
"That I am." Ash told Puzzle, who was now sitting on his back, leaning over his shoulder. "Mama, he's taller than you!"
