He looked behind him and saw nothing. "Do you see anything?" Anthony whispered.

She shook her head.

"Hm. I didn't see anything either." he sighed.

"That's... that's really weird." She returned to her spot.

"Yeah.." he looked behind him again, still seeing nothing.

She sighed. It couldn't have been our imaginations... because we both heard it... She looked at him, realizing for the first time that his face looked just a little scary.

He looked away and just thought they were both hearing things.

She flopped down, staring at the ceiling of the van.

"You tired?" he asked, yawning quietly.

"A little," she admitted.

"Then sleep." Anthony said and laid on his back.

She sighed. "I'm trying..."

"Don't worry about a thing. It'll be alright. Just sleep." he reassured. "If something happens, I'll be sure to wake you."

She forced herself to believe him, and finally drifted off.

After she fell asleep, Anthony looked around making sure everything was ok. After everything was right, he fell asleep himself.
Meanwhile, a loud ringing sound pounded into Anthony's eardrums. He gently shook Diane awake. "Hey, wake up."
