She shrugged. "How much do you remember from before?"

"Uh, before what?"

"Before you were taken," she said.

"Not a lot. I remember I used to have a Nissan sedan. That's all." Anthony shrugged.

"Huh." She quickened her pace, heading toward the old van not too far away. She pulled open the door and climbed in. "Not too great, but it is what it is."

"Feels homey." Anthony climbed in after her.

She shrugged, emptying her bag by the passenger seat. There had been a few cans left, but they were good for a little while now.

Anthony looked around at the van and made himself comfortable. This was how he'd have to live from now on.

She yawned. "You're sure they didn't put anything in you?"

"Not that I know of." he shook his head.

"Okay..." She sat down on the opposite side of the van from him.

"Why do you keep asking?" he asked, becoming a little concerned.

"If they did, and we got caught because of you... I don't want that." She shrugged.

"Oh. Ok." suddenly, Anthony started hearing a beeping sound. "Do you hear that?"

She nodded, sneaking into the front seats to peek out the window.
