While being a demon was fun and all... this wasn't fair. What if he had wanted to be an angel? But who would he ask about this?

She stayed there for a while, ignoring the sounds of the bell, and god's command to get back to heaven.

He ignored the screams of hell. He was waiting for her to get back.

Sera came out of the water, and sat in the sun until her wings dried off. She tried to fly back to heaven, but couldn't lift herself off the ground. She didn't have an aura, just plain pale. Melanie was a few feet away, picking a dead mouse's soul up. "Melanie?" no response. She walked up to her and poked her. "Melanie!" still no response.

Somewhere, far away, he could hear her shouting about someone named Melanie. He followed the sound of her voice through the trees and found her laying on the ground.

After more desperate attempts to get at least 30 angels to notice her, still nothing. She couldn't fly...wouldn't do anything. And when she picked up a squirrel's soul, it just went straight through her hand. In shock and confusion, she fainted.

He finally found her, passed out. He lifted the angel, taking care not to hurt her wings. He sighed. "I need to find another angel."

She laid limp in his arms.

He paraded around for a while, looking for an angel. After not finding anyone, he laid Sera on the ground and flew after the nearest bird, grabbing it and holding it tightly. He flew back down to the ground.

Stiiiillll lifeless wheeeeee.

He opened his mouth and shot out flames, burning the bird to a crisp. He watched the creature's spirit and waited for an angel to come get it.

An angel came flying down. She frowned at the demon, and picked the bird up. -

"Hey! Hey wait!" He grabbed the angel's ankle before she could fly away.
