"No......g-go away..." she whispered, not wanting to know the truth about Seth.
-
"Please..." he whispered, his hand hovering over one of her wings.
-
She rolled her eyes and pulled her wings away from her. "What do you want?" she whispered.
-
"I realized... I... I'm sorry..." Erasmus sighed, and looked away.
-
"R-realized what?" she asked him, in a soft little quiet voice.
-
He couldn't say it directly. "Who was it that shot me? I never saw."
-
"What?" she asked him, very confused.
-
"I remembered. I killed you, and your family. That's why I'm a demon, okay?" He rested his head in his hands.
-
"W-what?" she asked, her eyes wide. "You're lieing....demons lie. That's what they do."
-
"Have I been acting like a demon lately?" he asked.
-
Her heart felt as if it sunk all the way down to her stomach as the realization hit. "You.....you're....." Hot tears started to stream down her face. "I hate you." she whispered before flying off through the forest.
-
He sat there, watching her fly off. He didn't try to stop her. He didn't go after her. He just sat there, as if staying still in the suffocating silence of the forest could save him from the pain she'd just put him through.
I shouldn't be a demon. -
She ended up in a small dark cave, at the bottom of a lake deep in the cave. The lack of air wouldn't kill her, she was already dead. Her tears mixed with the clear water. He killed her...her mom, dad, her sister, and left her brother in his own suicidle messed up depressing world.
-
He'd never meant to do what he did... he barely had a choice, right? Wait... His eyes widened in realization. If death is already determined, what leads to death has to be as well. I didn't choose to kill her family. Which brought him to another discovery. I didn't choose to become a demon.
-
And to think that she actually liked this guy? Her aura was already faded, and then it went away as she sunk deeper into a state of dis-belief and depression.
