He fell asleep soon after, and dreamt of earlier. Except, it wasn't like earlier. It was different.
-
Sera fell into a dream. "That hurt?" the man asked as he heard Sera's plea for him to stop stabbing her."That hurt?" Seth asked in the same voice. The man glared at her, his amber colored eyes burning with feirce hatred. Seth glared at her with his amber eyes. Then the man was shot by her brother. And seth was in a firey pit of suffering down in hell.
Then the dream repeated. Over...and over. -
Erasmus pulled Sera close to him, wrapping his wings around her and protecting her from the cold. She looked at him. "You know, Seth, you look really familiar..." He frowned, not quite getting what she meant. She stared at him to the point of his discomfort, until she realized who he was. She pushed him away. "You killed... you killed my family," she muttered.
He frowned. "Huh?"
"You're the murderer. You're the one who killed my family."
He desperately reached for any logical reasoning. "I needed money... I was insane... I couldn't think of anything el-"
"I hate you!" Sera screamed. The words echoed in his ears. He reached for her, hoping that he could somehow make things okay again. She pushed him away, one of her teardrops landing on the back of his hand in the process. It stung like acid. He watched her fly away, unable to follow.
I hate you! Her voice sounded once again in Erasmus's ears. -
Sera sat straight up, breathing heavily. "No...nonono....dreams...it was a dream. A billion people have amber eyes...just a...coincedence...y-yea...." she said quietly, pacing back and forth on her cloud in a desperate attempt to calm down.
-
When he woke, he sat up and pulled his knees to his chest, thinking about the dream. He buried his head in his arms, so no one else would see his silent, manly tears.
-
Sera sat down on her cloud. "It was a dream...not real....he's not him.....Oh GOD he's him....no. He can't be. He's not. But he might be...what if he is?" she thought to herself. She wrapped her wings around herself to block out the light. It was like her own little hideaway as the tears started to come out.
-
It's not like... I mean, she'll understand, right? No, of course she won't. There's no valid excuse for a human to massacre a family. This was very undemonic.
-
"Ugh......." she hated the sun at this moment, and heaven was where it was strongest. She flew down to earth and went into a heavily wooded dark area with little sun, settling on a low branch. She covered herself with her wings again.
-
He couldn't do this. He soared down from his cave, out into the tunnels, and to the terminal, only landing once. A portal opened near the tree in the human world. He laid on the ground, his face in the dirt.
-
Her quiet weeping was soft and depressing as it echoed through the forest.
-
Off in the distance, he could hear someone sobbing. It sounded like her.
-
She pulled her knees to her chest, unable to see past her white wings.
-
Should I? He stood and followed the sound, finding a little bundle wrapped with white wings. He knelt down beside the weeping angel.
brb -
Sera didn't notice Seth kneeling next to her. The only way she could be sure that he was him...is if he had the scar from the bullet when her brother shot him.
-
"Sera?" he whispered.
