I wasn't exactly watching 'The 700 Club', I just kinda thought it was the news. But I found out at about the end that it was The 700 Club.
So that show is a pretty damn religious show, if you didn't know.
And so on the show, they were praying. And they were like "____, God will relieve your pain! You will kill the parasite in your stomach IN THE NAME OF THE LORD. Now you're feeling your stomach burn in a good way, as you pray, and as He relieves your pain!"
Okay, as faithful as I am sometimes, I don't really think that's going to get rid of the parasite. If it did, God would have helluva lot of things on his 'to do list'. I would kinda want my arm infection to disappear, and for my ears to heal completely, ((more likely the arms, they are disgusting as f---)) but I don't think a prayer is going to work here guys.
((Okay, okay, I have no right to judge this if some of you guys do believe a prayer is going to work for this. But I'm saying I found it strange.)) -

i accidentally turned to it because my stupid tv guide said it was americas funniest home videos ans it was that. the first word i heard was sex then i pressed the back button lol

I don't watch that show, or any religious shows really, but I believe prayer has power. If I was sick with something I'd turn to God for support. Jesus healed lepers and sick people, and I believe in the power of God, whatever his Will is.
And yes, I sound very Christian right now. That's because I am.
