What is flesh (us)?
We are everything love is not, we are weak, mean, we give up, have no hope, is happy with evil. etc
Now then. Since we are the flesh, we think all of the flesh things. Our thoughts are mean, have no hope, weak etc. But I know when the Holy Spirit talks to me that it is just the opposite. He is love.
Thats how i know my thoughts are sometimes the holy spirit -

That lady was insane. She did not know God. She may have mistakenly, thought that the devil was God. Yes these things happen in real life. My cousins who are pegans, see demons at night in their house. People with no heads, or woman just staring at them. YES!! Thats how i responded at first.
Like, no way! Yet they see these things and think that they are angels. Angels dont appear in the shape of a masked man with a saw in his hand!!! Those were demons.
In the same way, the devil may be mistaken as God, to those who dont know him. I know him and know what is God and what is not. And that woman didnt hear Gods voice.
As for Abraham, God told him to go sacrafice his son to see if Abraham would trust God. To see if Abraham really loved God. So thats what God told him to do, this was a test, and when Abraham was about to kill the child. God called out from heaven saying, "Dont lay a hand on that boy! Dont hurt him in any way, for now i know that you truly fear god. You have not witheld me even your son, your only son." Genesis 22
God never wanted Abraham to kill Isaac, god had things all figured out before hand -

@ slim- I thought you were saying that you didnt understand why that lady killed her kids under Gods cammand. And that you didnt understand the Abraham story. Thats why i explained it but..... uhh... i guess thats not what you meant... (coughs) embarrassing.. Uh, maybe you could make it more clear as to what you were trying to say, sorry for the confusion.
