I could go in alot of different directions with this but I'll wait. All I will say is that I'm an atheist and my knowledge of religious text is less than stellar.

athiests are being scoffed by the religious community so much that we have to know about other religions so we can add insult to injury while we kick those religious nut jobs in the ass.

Ya that is why lots of atheists know more Ork but some are just extra smart like my bros and sis and they already know that crap. Atheists on average are also much more accepting of gays and bis, are smarter, and are less likely to beat their kids. Also states with higher populations of atheists also have a lower murder count and like only 0.2% of prison inmates are atheist. xD There's some more food.

tongue ExperiencedThat's one thought. I'd say that once you read what the religion is actually about, you figure out it's all bulls---. At least that's the case with Christianity. Most likely the results of the survey look like this because atheists have read ALL the religious texts, not just the text of a single religion the way the sheep do. Christians and atheists on average probably have close to the same knowledge of the Bible.

Atheists are a breed of humanity that has evolved itself beyond the chains of theism while the sheep drag their knuckles behind us. Kill God and you shall be free.

I am NOT a sheep. I practice what I preach. That's doesn't mean I don't still make mistakes. I'm not some "behind, unevolved human being". I believe in love and good and truth and wisdom. I have no problem with someone who doesn't believe my religion until they go saying they're better than me! -
I dont agree with you on a god Roe, but i do agree that he went too far. He should have realized that by insulting others for their beliefs he is no better than the people who have insulted athiests. I am ashamed to say that I am one too. And i would like to appologize to you on his behalf.

Exactly! I don't mind Athiests, they have their beleiefs, but being a dumb--- and showing off that you think you've got some brain of steel is stupid. And I'm with Ana, I would rather believe in God and be good and do good things and be honest and hard working then some idiot with nothing better to do in life then be a cock sucking imbecile, how's that for disrespect? -_-
