-"Homosexuality is a mental illness"
-"Crying is a sin"
-"It doesn't matter if you're a good person"
-"All non-believers will go to hell, period"
These are her belief. They all entitle her being right and just for being exactly the way she is and everyone else who isn't just like her being wrong or inferior. THAT is the definition of a superiority complex. And her reasoning for acting that way are because of the points of her religious views. They drive her to see other people as inferior or wrong. They are her reasoning for considering herself superior. -
Does anyone know where crying is a sin came from?
-
It was something horses was claiming. It was something along the lines of sin is inherent in all people and that that's why babies cry and that the only reason people cry is because of personal greed or something like that. You'd have to ask her.
-
First if all, of course she thinks non-believers are wrong. Just as atheists think Christians are wrong. We can't all think everyone is "right". XD That wouldn't even make sense XD
AGAIN....
All if those bullet points are her beliefs. Never once did she say you HAVE to belief them or whatever. That's just what SHE personally believes.
"Well that's hateful and we hate her for it."
DAFUQ -
No it's okay to cry if a family member is dying or something.
Crying because you disobeyed your parent and got your electronics taking away is a sin. You know, feeling bad for yourself when it was your fault.
Or something like that. I don't believe this though. -
if you share hateful bwliefs (THRY MAY BE BELIEFS BUT THEY'RE HATRFUL)) then it will warrant hate back. people have the right to hate thrm as much as you're allowed to spread hate.
if i came in and said being born was a sin and relieving stress was s sin, that would warrant peopl to attack me asthey are hateful beliefs and I shouldn't be surprised at the backlash. -
*Claps for Carri*
Some people are actually awesome
Anyway XD.....
Carri - yes I can understand that. I just don't think it is fair to hate someone as a human being for their beliefs, even if you hate the beliefs, which is totally okay. -
She can think we're wrong but she has still yet to provide any evidence for it. The burden of proof lies with the one making the extraneous claims and yet her only "proof" is a single book and her own opinion.
They are her beliefs. But as I just said, unless she can provide proof for her beliefs, they are nothing more than HER personal opinion. And they're pretty hateful.
So we're not allowed to cry for any other loss than lost life? That's still a pretty messed up idiology. I know you don't believe it, but can you really argue that it's not a little messed up? -
^ That's fine that you feel that way.
And, yes, they are just her beliefs but you must respect them and not call them hateful and whatever else, even if that's how you feel about them. I'm sure there are many things she hasn't said to you because she was trying to be respectful. -
Their beliefs reflect who they are as human beings, therefore it's logical to hate them for their beliefs. ESPECIALLY IF THEY'RE HATEFUL.
and unloving, bob said exactly what I just said, and it feels like you're disagreeing with him for the sake of disagreeing with bob rather than taking in what you just said.
We've gone over this; if they're hateful and you post them on the internet, you should expect backlash for it. Expecting it all to be peachy and for others to respect it is unrealistic. -
Religion does not affect who you are or your personality. It affects your lifestyle but not your general personality and how you treat others. You should not treat someone badly just because of their religion. That's like...religionism XD
-
You've been defending Christianity on here for nearly two months because it's a lifestyle choice?
Horses tells us that we're all going to burn in hell because it's a lifestyle choice.
Love horses,
Damask,
Purple Cherries,
Alter2Ego,
JesusIsTheWay,
Unexpected,
These people all acted the way they did because it was a lifestyle choice? I disagree. It's a drug. One that feeds to the pleasure center of superiority. Every single one of them acted better than everyone else and smug. This isn't a coincidence.
Having a book telling you that you're right, and everyone else is wrong doesn't do anything. But having a book that tells you you're right and everyone else is wrong and being brainwashed since birth to believe that book does will affect who you are.
It's a very powerful drug. One that so much of the world is hooked on that we don't even realize we're addicted.
And if you still think it's just a coincidence... these are just the people who have made a major ass of themselves in the past year alone. -
Okay think whatever you want about religion.
I'm not going to get involved with your beliefs on the issue.
The point being, I am still not seeing how horses is the bad guy here - even if she doesn't have info to back it up XD ??? -
No. It does affect their personality. Most of the people I've met who were religious were downright hateful thanks to it. They were intolerant and horrendous because they thought their religion was the right way and that everyone else was stupid for not believing so.
Majority of the people bob listed are hardcore religious people. These are the people that were the most hated of GTQ. it wasn't for their religion, but the way they acted about it.
Damask would openly call people f---ing stupid and would refuse to explain why.
When the majority is awful, I have a very very hard time believing the religion isn't hateful. -
"It affects your lifestyle but not your general personality and how you treat others."
Your lifestyle also includes how you treat others. Your religion is supposed to dictate how you treat others (respect thy neighbors or something idk) and "hate the sin, not the sinner" and so forth.
"You should not treat someone badly just because of their religion."
We don't. If you go about your religion badly, you will be treated the way you treat us.
if horses doesn't have info to back it up, it's an ignorant opinion that has no validity to it. If you preach it as truth, that's despicable.
